1 star because the people are friendly, just not hair stylists, DO NOT Under any circumstances let the local shop (Hair Cuttery Haymarket, Monica) trim your hair. My hair is so messed up that the manager said I would have to get my hair cut really short to correct the mess that Monica made. Of course, I do not trust them to correct the problem, I will be going to Kimberly Lukas, of Master Salons, to find the right style that will look great on me. It will take me another year to grow my hair out to shoulder length. Just thankful I still have hair on my head. Fyi, I asked for a trim with long layers (works good with naturally curly hair), well I dont see the layers, but I do see where she used thinning shears about 2 to 3 inches from the bottom all over my head, looks like a wicked hack job, definitely not a STYLE. Wish I had read hawtmamahs review before I went there.

Not sure what is going on with the Dominion Valley Hair Cuttery. But I like going to Hair Cuttery because its very reasonable. They change managers and stylists. My last experience I wasnt to happy. The stylist wasnt very friendly. I had to initiate the conversation. Wasnt sure if she was having a bad day or if she didnt want to be there. Haircut was ok. And I still tipped her. Dont think I will be going back to Dominion Valley.

In less than 30 min. I was back home after having a wash, condition and cut and that was after stopping at the gas station to fill my tank. No effort made, looks like before. Dissapointed, but my fault for waiting til last second to get hair cut. Will go back to my other stylist next time. Stylist spent approx. 5-6 min. tops cutting my hair.

My family has gone to Hair Cuttery for about 2 years. Deep is our stylist; she listens to what you want to have done. Not often do you find a stylist that can cut AND color. The supervisor cut my husbands hair when Deep wasnt there and made a mess of it. (Reason for 4/5 stars)

I needed a quick trim so that is what I got however I was asked to pay 10 dollars more for having long hair. My hair is shoulder length. I was never told that and it is not in the price list by the entrance. All I say is.... full disclosure people.
