Although the ambience is not typical for a salon, do not let it scare you away! This is the most surprisingly amazing haircut I have ever had, and I am very picky. I called 3 hours before and they fit me in, and the employees could not have been nicer. Although I am usually uncomfortable with male stylists, mine was excellent. I love that he didnt make small talk, and the whole thing probably took 25-30 minutes. They do not charge extra for shampoos or blowouts or anything ridiculous like that, so all-in-all it was only $40! I definitely plan on returning for my next haircut. I can not say anything about their other services, but it is really nice to find a down-to-earth salon where they do not try to sell you things, and they were just so friendly. It made my day!

I highly recommend Susan Brantley Salon & Spa! I have always been skeptical about trying "someplace new" when it comes to getting my hair cut, but I was forced to find "someplace new" since I had moved from Texas and was unfamiliar with the northern VA area. I found this salon, gave it a try and now I wouldnt think about going anyplace else. I know when I go to Susan Brantley Salon & Spa I will come out with an excellent hair cut every time. These stylists know what theyre doing, and, as a working professional, you cant risk recent beauty school grads messing up your hairdo! In addition to being knowledgable, the stylists are personable and always have good conversation! And, the salons prices are very reasonable.

I was introudced to Sue Brantley by my mother, a long time client. Ive been a client of hers since the first visit. Now I bring my children also. Ive never had any service other than cut and color but I can say Sue is the best!!!! She is experienced, and not only fantasitc with cuts and color but will give you great advice about at home care. I am loyal to this salon and will be very sad when she retires. Highly recommend!!

Im looking for local salons for various services (manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage). I was very put off checking out the business website. I dont care how good you are, there is no reason to charge women more for these services! They will not be getting my business.

First time in this salon, as a visitor to the area. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable stylist and a great cut. Highly recommended
