I have been going to Escape Spa for several years, one thing that bothers me about the spa is that the nail techs are not considerate as to the way that they make customers feel when they speak their language, laugh and joke as if you dont know that they are talking about you. I had an incident this past weekend, I came into the spa and my nail tech LaMoon was sitting at the table with another technician, LaMoon says something to the technician when she saw me come in, the technician turns around and looks back at me and burst out laughing. This is not acceptable and you will continue to lose customers with this behavior. I have put up with Lamoon who I thought was a nice person until recently when she started to treat me differently. Lamoon is always in a rush even when there is no one waiting, she has cut me with the drill that she uses and I have literally had sores on my toes and have never given her a bit of attitude for this. I asked Lynn who is the tech (Manager) who does my lashes and eyebrows if someone else could do my nails and feet, Lynn told me to go to booth 21, I get to booth 21 and the technician comes over with her lips poked out, I asked her if she wanted to do my nails and her response was, Im here. This rudeness is not acceptable; I have spent a lot of money at this spa over the years and deserve to be treated with respect as I have always given respect to everyone there. One thing that you all must remember is that although Escape is a nice spa as far as appearance, you really need to train your technicians how to treat customers with respect and not rudeness. I would rather be treated right than to continue to accept this behavior where I am paying lots of my money. Because of this incident, I will not be returning to Escape Spa.

My husband suprised me with a spa day here for our 10 year anniversary. I had a great massage and pedicure. They even worked with me on altering my package to replace a brow defining service with something else. I will be going back today. ----------------------------------------------------------And to the person who responded to the original review, this isnt a message board for negative remarks like yours. Its a place where people can post their experiences that THEY had. She might not make sense in the fact that NO ONE was open the day after the blizzard(common sense would tell a person to stay off the roads and to expect places to be closed and appointments to be cancelled) so obviously no one could ge to their contact sheets to call clients but that does not give you the right to sit here and spew your nasty remarks. It shows your immaturity and character which is very unlady like and uneducated. You need to reread her posting and think before you type because you got a lot of things WRONG. Please keep your ignorant comments to yourself in the future. The world is already full of enough ignorance and hated towards fellow mankind. Try being positive and constructive for once instead of negative and criticle. Youll find that it opens up a whole new world of happiness and well being.

I will not be returning to this place I read the reviews before I went and everyone had great comments. I had let them know it was my first time there. My pedicure was done in less then 15 minutes. I then went to get a full set of gel nails she didnt converse at all with me and finished way too fast. She didnt let my nails dry before applying the gel and I had folds and cracks in all my nails. I then had to come back the next day to get them fixed the entire time I was in there I knew they were talking about me and making me feel uncomfortable. The same tech who did my nails looked at my nail was mad started filing at my nails feverishly and then tried to place gel over it without adding polish. Not to mention see had left my thumb nails and different lengths. I was then asked to move into another tech chair so she goes help me. She was nicer and fixed my nails. She told me that the problem was the tech hadnt let the polish dry enough before applying the gel. So that was the techs fault not mine. I didnt like the treatment there and for the money I spent I thought the service would be better. Will never return there!!!! And I have told friends and family in the area not to go there.

I went to this Salon for the very first time tonight. I called first as it was 7:15 on a Saturday and most nail salons were closed. The person answering was very kind and said to come right in. I needed a facial wax, pedicure, and manicure. I thought I might be rushed through since it was pretty close to closing time which was 8pm. They assured me that there was plenty of time and not to worry and that they regularly accommodate clients who need to start a little later. Jackson was the person who did my manicure and pedicure. I got the milk and honey pedicure and it was very relaxing, by far the best pedicure Ive had. The manicure was also great even though I only got the basic. Leena did the face wax and was very skilled and thorough. All of the employees were friendly and professional throughout. I was offered something to drink. Fruit was out to snack on. All of the prices were in a menu next to the various stations and are also on their website. I am 9 months pregnant so its a little difficult to get around and the staff was so pleasant, patient, and helpful. I cant wait to go back for some relax time after the baby is born!

I specifically went around the the area spas to find the best deals. This SEEMED to be the place to go. I visited a couple times to make sure the price did not change. The front desk said the hairdo I wanted service for would be from 45 to 60 AT THE MOST!!!. I made an appt for hair and nails...got nails done first on one day. the lady who did the nails was feeling my hair and no mention of price change was done.(until after my hair was done!!!) Suddenly I am slapped with an amount more than what I thought I was getting...(WHY DID I SHOP FOR A PRICE QUOTE? WHY DID SHE NOT SAY SOMETHING WHEN SHE WAS DOING MY NAILS? SHE WAITED UNTIL "AFTER" HAIR WAS DONE BEFORE TELLING ME) I could have gotten this price from any of the area spas... Recommending a different spa to anyone who does not want to get RIPPED OFF...Very dissappointed with this business. Will never go back or recommend to anyone in this area who knows better. I am not a person who complains about stuff, but this made me very upset.

Went there recently for a mani pedi. Hours list that they close at 9pm (and when Ive been here before they closed at 9pm). I arrived just before 7pm so I could have plenty of time. I asked for a manipedi and they didnt inform me they were closing within an hour. I was treated respectfully by the techs, other than they thought I was trying to put shellac on my toes and talked amongst themselves about it.... I was sat in the pedi chair, but while I was there they had someone start on my hands, I didnt get a hand soak, and because of the angle, a lot of my tips got clipped uneven and acrylic didnt get applied entirely even since they were rushing the second tech. While she was finishing my nails most of them went to the back or left, they even started turning off the lights while I was there. I work retail, I understand wanting to leave when its time to go.... this was just not right. Im also leaving the techs names out because I dont blame this on them.
