I started going to Winning Image a few years back. With any Salon, you have to find the person that really works for you and so did I. For me it is Megan. I was the type to bounce from one salon to another and never was really happy with the results. Then I met Megan. She listened to exactly what I wanted and the results were amazing. I have had tri-colored hair, short, long, layers... you name it. Everything that I have asked for she delivered. I recommend KNOWING what you want. Pictures are helpful and it also helps once you develop a relationship with your stylist. Megan takes the time to tell you what she is doing and showing you how to maintain your style outside of the salon. She doesnt force any salon products on you. She is someone that clearly loves her job and loves making people love the way they look. We could all go to super cuts for a cheap hair cut but you never know how you will walk out. In my opinion its worth the extra money. Its our hair we are talking about her ladies. The thing everyone sees when they first look at us. So go to Megan, or any stylist that you find meets your needs at Winning Image, and you will be glad that you did.

Tera is absolutely amazing!!! I am new to the area and walked in to Winning Image from off the street -- with a list of "special needs" due to an awful prior experience and that sick feeling you get when trying a new salon... I was greeted by friendly front desk staff, to whom assisted in matching me with the right stylist. Tera came out and did a mini consultation, that was IT for me -- she understood my concerns and made some wise recommendations. My appointment was scheduled for the same week and I left feeling confident. Well...today was my appointment and I LOVE my hair! Tera took my vision and made it better! My color is stunning, my cut was precise and I dont think my hair has looked this good in years. Not only is Tera a knowledgable Artist, she is a genuine person, her sincerity and passion for her work is very apparent. I would HIGHLY Tera, she was refreshing and very trendy.

I’ve been going to Winning Image for many years now. I even took my mother and aunt on a regular basis for years. We were never disappointed! Hair services were all professionally done as were manicures and pedicures (Karen is a friend now…getting a mani/pedi is like a great therapy session!) I let Faye color my hair after doing it myself for many years. It looked so good, I’ve let her color it again. I wish I could take her with me! Heck, even the shampoos in the massage chairs are wonderful! And if you haven’t had a facial with Delfina, you’re really missing out! Massages, too! I am about to relocate to NC and very, very sad about having to give up the great people and services at Winning Image. Some of them feel like family to me. EXCELLENT staff, excellent services, excellent management. Once you experience Winning Image, you won’t want to go anywhere else!

The staff were very friendly and helpful but I feel like that is to mask the mediocre jobs they do for a very expensive price. I am new to the area and googled good salons to get my hair cut and this one had a lot of good reviews so I went. I wanted a simple cut shampoo and blow dry and she finished very quickly didnt seem like she had paid a lot of attention for being a senior producer or whatever the second rank is called. The hair cut was alright but when I got home I noticed there was a huge chunk of hair that was left longer than the rest. Like I said she rushed and didnt pay that much attention and I feel like its because it was my first time there so they didnt really care since I wasnt a regular like most of the other ladies were... not worth 45$ plus a tip but if you like wasting money then go ahead.

The stylists are all very nice, but the service is miserable! The ladies at the front desk act like Im inconveniencing them when I ask a question. My mother and I have both had horrific experiences in this salon. For one instance, I went in for one service after having a consultation and had a completely different service done to my hair without my knowledge bringing my bill to triple the amount I was intending to pay! My friend mentioned something on facebook about this salon and I told her "Ive had bad experiences there, I wouldnt suggest it" and then owner, Lisa, started sending me facebook messages heckling me about my "extremely negative comments" and demanding me to "stop bashing" -very unprofessional! -On the brighter side, its pretty clean and Megan is so sweet.

I once had a bad experience here, but after about two years I went back and four ladies have turned my opinion completely around. Delphina, Aly, Megan, and Regina are the BEST stylist and esthetician I have had the pleasure of receiving service from. Delphin is my esthetician and I will ONLY allow HER to handle my waxing. Aly is one of few stylists that I will allow free reign with my hair. Megan does my mother’s hair and she is amazing (I would give her free reign with my hair too). Finally Regina…she does my daughter’s hair and she has been the best thing for my daughter’s hair (my daughter has mixed hair and it can be difficult to manage). All four women have impressed me and I will not go to anyone else! Thank you, ladies…I love you guys!

This salon has an upscale feel and very personable staff. I have been a customer for four years; took me a year to find the right stylist, but now i wouldnt go anywhere else. Gail is great, remembers my style and always provides a great conversation. The salon also offers massages and other services. Having had a massage there i would recommend it, the spa side of the salon is well decorated, quite and relaxing. Only negative is the front desk staff seem to get overwhelmed easily, especially if your calling on the phone. I appreciate they are taking care of the actual person standing in front of them, but being put on hold for minutes at a time can be frustrating when your simply trying to set an appointment.

I have to say that the last negative response is very extreme. Its funny what people will say when they are mad. The salon as a whole shouldnt have to pay for one stylist mistake. Some of these girls are new hairdressers and are learning. The salon is very busy and sometimes shorthanded at the front desk as well as the shampoo area. Ive been a stylist there for a long long time and Ive seen people come and go as well as coworkers. They go somewhere else but then most of the time they eventually come back and try again. Im sorry for those of you that had a bad experiance, but try us again and ask for a senior stylist or a senior executive stylist. Im sure you will be happy.
