First of all let me start off saying that my wife and I had went out to see the differences in all of the Subaru line-up. We were met with a friendly staff and a desire as it seems to help us figure the car that would best fit our family. The sales person did a good job of showing us the different car models and even allow us to try fitting our three kids car seats into the car to try it out. When we finally decided on a car that would be fit our needs we decided to go to the table about the price and purchase. Now this is where the process starts to fall about. When we asked the salesman the difference between the different model grades he told us one thing and one thing only, come to find out that there were several differences in the models. Next as we haggled over the price I was told that I would have to pay tax, title, and tags at the dealer for a large rate. I am military in Virginia and I dont pay these large rates and told them I would take care of it myself and was told I could not this is a LIE. Finally settle on a final price the wife and I were ok with and was told to give a check for $1000 to appropriate the car. When we asked the salesman if this check was to be cashed he told us NO, we specifically asked this question since we didnt keep money in that account for personal reason but could have moved money to cover if required. Now the car that we wanted was not available at the dealership and they would have to check the other Subaru dealerships to find the car. In this time they never once called me to let me know that status of their search or even email me to keep me up to date. This happened for over a week with me calling daily to get a status update. During this time the dealership cashed the check (that they said they wouldnt do) and caused an overdraft fee. Finally I get a call from the dealership to tell me the check didnt clear and that they placed my car on order from the factory. My wife goes in to drop off a certified check for the $1000 and the front desk lately yells to the back that the lady is here for the bounced check which gets noticed by the entire staff and customers. At this point my wife is over this dealership and so am I. Now we asked to get our check back and they tell me it is going to take a week. During this time I am calling and getting the run around from everyone at the dealership. Finally get the check back and get told I have to pay them $25 for the bounced check fee. I expressed to the Internet sales manager my disappoint with there customer service and that I had tried there dealership once before and had similar bad experience. I hoped this time would be different but they did go out of the way to make sure that I would never make that mistake again. I will not recommend any CASEY family dealership to anyone and hope that this reviews saves someone the hard aches that we went thru.

This dealership does not hold true to quotes given. I used a car buying service through my bank so I can get the best price possible on a 2015 WRX STI. I was told to contact the dealer for pricing. I have an email string showing the conversation between myself and the dealership. I even had conversations with them in which I was told 2 STIs were in route, 1 blue limited and 1 silver. I was not interested in paying for a limited and liked the silver. I was quoted on the phone for 32700.00 and via email. This being a great deal, I proceeded to the dealership the next day to make a deal. We were able to agree on terms. I was buying a silver WRX STI for 32700.00 The price listed was 36257.00. I left them the down payment and as I was getting ready to verify the car I was buying with anothe sales person he told me this was not going to happen and there was a mistake on the quote given to me. I find this disturbing as we sat for an hour trying to negotiate numbers with an agreement and a transfer of money for the down payment. Apparently there are issues at this dealership. Clearly the email states what I was interested in and what the price was. I was even approved through Subaru Finance up to a certain amount on a WRX STI. I highly recommend to work with other dealers in the area. Dont waste your time here. Bait and Switch- they will do what it takes to get you in. They will quote you a price and then try to sell you the same car at a higher price. I also noted that after checking the website, they have no WRXs for sale at the price of 32700.00. All of which are in transit . As of today 11/05/2014, 2 wrxs at 27,739. and 2 STIs 36,257 and 40,358. #caseysubaru #caseyautogroup #rippoff #baitandswitch #wtkr #wavy #wvec #fox #cnn

Let me give you the facts of my experience with Casey Subaru. I was put in contact with Sales Manager Steve Mitchell through a friend and spoke with him on the phone to get a price quote on a 2015 Impreza hatchback in the Premium trim. He quoted me a price of $19368 which is more than $1500 below the KBB fair purchase price. I was amazed at the price quote and thought my friend must have a lot of pull at this dealership, so on the phone I asked Steve multiple times if he was sure we were talking about the 2015 Impreza hatchback in Premium trim, and not some other car. He assured me multiple times that it was that car. I went to the dealership and we looked at the car to confirm it was the correct car, everything matched up and it was there on the lot. We got the paperwork going for the purchase. Once we started talking price, Steve walked over and said "Oh Ive made a mistake, I quoted you a price on a different car, but its still a premium, lets go look at that one and make sure youre happy with it". We walked outside and they showed me a BASE model impreza SEDAN, not the premium trim and not even a hatchback. This is not just a simple mistake. When I said this would not work and I didnt want the car, Steve started making accusations that I should have known that the price was too good to be true and that it was my fault for not realizing he was talking about a BASE version. There is another review that mentions this dealership did the same thing to him on a WRX, calling it a "Bait and Switch" and I completely agree, thats how this dealership operates so dont trust them.

Incredible experience. Not only did the Casey team exceed our price expectations, their customer service was phenomenal. My wife and I test drove Outbacks in our local area, however we left each lot with a bad feeling. With some dealers, we felt they were inflexible on their pricing and with others, we felt they were using high pressure sales tactics. Frustrated, we launched the USAA car tool and Paul, with Casey Imports, responded promptly. Our first engagement was informative and accommodating. Our biggest concern was the distance from Casey Imports to our house (2hrs). Paul sent us photos of the Outback on site, answered a lot of questions for us and not only gave us an excellent deal, they also transported our vehicle to our location, free of charge. All information needed to speed the administrative process up was done via phone and electrons with Scott from Casey Import’s business office. He found us a great interest rate and also gave us his personal assurance that everything would be in order upon delivery. Prior to leaving the dealership, Ken, our salesman, called us to go over the extras we requested and to ensure the meeting location was correct. Ken stayed in touch with us during the transport in order to provide us updates on his estimated time of arrival. When he arrived we went over the car and went to a local doughnut shop, where Ken explained each document of the contract in great detail. Now we are the proud owners of a Subaru Outback. Great experience, Great dealership, Great car!
