I dont generally write reviews but this was the worst dining experience I have ever been apart of. First off, let me start by saying the servers Scott and Brittany were really nice. However, thats about it. We had an engagement party for 25 people. They said that it would be "family style" which means there would be multiple entrees and we could pass them around the table. Since there were so many of us this was the only menu option. You would think they would give us enough food for everyone considering the amount we paid. Nope. They gave us REGULAR PLATES OF FOOD MEANT FOR ONE PERSON TO SPLIT BETWEEN 25 PEOPLE! Even the dessert was split! They brought out one slice of cheesecake and one slice of chocolate cake and we had to share it between everyone! I had ONE bite of each, some people didnt even get any! Think thats bad? At the end of the dinner they said that they can "only split the bill four ways". Really? 25 people split 4 ways? Ok, so we somehow managed to get 3 cards and the rest in cash, only to be told they cant accept cash! So after spending 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do this, a couple of people were nice enough to transfer money out of their savings account and help out. Only to be told "OK we will go ahead and split the payments for you, everyone can pay for themselves". THATS WHAT WE TRIED TO DO TO BEGIN WITH! (Mind you, they told us that if we were there past the allotted time, which for us was 8 oclock, they would charge us an extra $50 for every 30 minute we went over. So I find it funny that they couldnt split the payments and then suddenly had the ability to do so after we were already late) So we finally get everything paid and was heading out of the door only for them to come BACK with another $120 gratuity bill (which, for whatever reason, wasnt included in the original bill) And sure enough, after everything was finally said and done, we were charged an extra $50 bucks. We asked to speak to the manager and he, or she, wouldnt even come out to talk to us, they just kept sending messages through the wait staff. This place was a total RIPOFF! I will be calling corporate, the BBB, SOMEBODY will hear about this!

Alright, first time here.. And definitely last time. When you walk in, the decor looks very nice, but thats about it. I came here for a friends going away dinner. We sat down and got our drink orders in. We were issued pre-selected menus and couldnt order from the regular menu, I know some restaurants do that for large parties to speed things up, so I wasnt too upset... If it actually sped things up... 45 minutes since we sat down, our house salads still havent come out yet, my glass of water had been empty for 30 minutes, and the bread wasnt served. We had to get up and ask the hostess (!) if we could get our bread; we asked the hostess because our waitresses and waiters were non-existent. 30 minutes later, the bread and salad finally comes out, and they finally refill my water. Then 1 hour later, our food finally starts trickling out; definitely upset with the service and the timelyness of everything, I ordered the shrimp pasta or whatever, and my food was lukewarm. But at this time its been over 2 hours so Im just trying to eat asap and leave asap. And again, my water was empty but the waitress just never came back since our food came out. Lastly, with the whole preselected menu, its suppose to come with dessert; they forgot to give it to us and started pushing our checks to us. We asked if were suppose to get dessert, in which they replied with, oh sure, we can bring it out. 30 minutes later... Everybody has already left, except me and 4 other stubborn folks, and they bring out exactly 5 pieces, even though everybody (the other 10) had already, technically paid for their dessert. We asked to have the other desserts boxed up to go, and they said no. All in all, I spent $45 and over 3 hrs for couple pieces of bread, lukewarm shrimp, 2 glasses of water, and 1 piece of cake. Seriously disappointed... The better alternative, for basically the same quality of food, better/faster service, more choices, would be Olive Garden. <- seriously, go there instead

My husband and I recently moved into the area and after spending the past two days dealing with the DMV for our new licenses and car registrations and we decided to go check out Travinia for a well deserved drink. When we went to the DMV, they took our New York licenses and stamped "void" on them, and gave us temporary paper licenses that were government stamped and signed and official. The woman at the DMV told us that paper, in addition to our old licenses, would be sufficient forms of ID until we got our new Virginia licenses in the mail. Apparently Travinia thinks they overrule the government. So my wife and I sat at the bar, eager for a drink. About 15 minutes passed before the bartender even approached us, and then refused to serve us because our licenses had "void" stamped on them. We explained the situation to her, and even showed her our temporary licenses, which again I cant stress enough, were GOVERNMENT issued (they were signed, stamped, and even had a bar code on the bottom) and she still refused to serve us. I should add that we are both nearly 30 years old. We are both completely disappointed with this service, and we will not be going back to this establishment. Thanks for welcoming us to the neighborhood in such a lovely manner.

It was awful! We met friends for dinner here on Friday, November 14, 2014. The staff was horribly disappointing. The female hostess in the pink ribbed sweater top was incredibly rude to my partner and I upon entry and it simply went downhill from there. There were several employees hanging out at the front desk area while patrons are waiting to be seated; what a horrible initial message to send to paying customers: the staff would rather stand like buffoons and socialize than seat money spending persons. When we finally got seated everything was pretty good from that point on but the hostess and her accompanying party simply destroyed the evening. Thanks for reading my review and have a great holiday season. cheers!!

Had my wedding rehearsal dinner here. A 3 course family style meal we picked weeks prior at $30 a head was supposed to be served at 5. It wasnt until 5:50 that the appetizers came out. After that, the entrees came out slowly and not all together. Parts of the salmon were undercooked, and wait staff refused to bring out more serving spoons after we asked. We ended up being late to my rehearsal. In the end, the food was good, but they didnt serve enough of it and my guests left hungry. Ill never go there again. Never have a party here or have them cater a meal.

45 minuites to get bread, another 30 minuites to get appetizers. Waited an hour and a half in total before the actual dinner came out, they pour hot "iced tea" and then ask later if you wanted ice. When you ask about bread the waiter gets an attitude and says he has only one more table that he is serving also and you can wait. Manager does not know how to greet or help out in anyway and should obviously not be in the position she is in. Just went across the street to Salsas and got much better service than this joke of a restaurant...
