All throughout college I dyed my own hair using hair dye from the drugstore. By the time I was in the "real world" working my hair was so dry. On top of this I was living in a large city with no cheap salons and got my hair cut at supercuts. I started going to hair theater 2 years ago when I moved to Richmond. Because of my parched hair and out-dated hair cuts I realized it was worth the money for a good haircut and color. The salon is laid back, and friendly, and offers you coffee/tea/wine when you are seated. The stylists really listen to what you want and use modern techniques. They use aveda products, and my hair color always looks natural when I leave the salon. I will not go anywhere else in Richmond for my hair. I highly recommend this salon!

Lauren has been doing my highlights for about a year now. She has done a great job of managing the color, tweaking it with lowlights or accents in just the right way. I go every 6 weeks, and Im usually her first appointment, so I tend to be one of only a handful of clients at that time of day. I love it because I feel like Im just hanging out with girlfriends. Liz, the owner, is warm, friendly, talented and funny. And Lauren treats you like shes know you her whole life. She also did a fabulous job of color-correcting my teens crayola red home-dye job. Love them!!

Love this place. My stylist gave me the first haircut that made me feel and look like an adult (a trendy adult!). Carole totally listens to what I want and works with my face shape and hair type to give me the most flattering style. Shes been doing my hair for over a year, and every time, I leave saying its my favorite cut ever. Cant recommend this place enough...

Ive always been told that I cant have the haircut that I want because stylists say it wouldnt work, and I usually ended up with a bowl cut. Jessie cut my hair and it turned out how Ive been wanting it to look for years. I will definitely be returning.
