I agree with the rating regarding Donna Lewis!! I moved to FBurg area around a year ago and had to leave someone who really knew how to give a great cut so I knew what it should be like but finding someone here that knows how to do hair correctly was a challenge, I have been to at least 8 different salons in the area and found them to be outrageously overpriced for the service provided or, unprofessional and downright untalented. But not Donna- she was professional and I got the best haircut Ive had in years. I am picky and have fine short hair but Donna made it look like a millon bucks and I left feeling there satisfied and happy to have found her. I will be going back again and again.

This salon is fantastic! I was visiting Fredericksburg for a wedding and my nails had been roughed up with packing and travel. I called the Downtown Nail & Hair Salon to see if someone there could re-do my nails. They got me right in the next day and Jaime, the nail technician who I had my appointment with, helped me pick out the perfect polish for my skin tone and the dress Id be wearing to the wedding. She was professional, thorough, and fun to chat with. I cant say enough of how much I loved this salon! Also, the nail facilities are very clean and sanitary. If only I could find a place like this back home!

Ive been all over Fredericksburg looking for a quality manicurist. After having my nails completely botched at a larger nail salon, I called Rachel, the owner of Downtown Nail & Hair Salon, and set up an appointment to have my pink&whites redone. Rachel is knowledgeable, offers quality product at an affordable rate, and provides a cozy downtown atmosphere with free parking next to Brocks. The only downside is how hard it is to get an appointment because her dedicated clientele base keeps growing, but thats a good thing too, so I can hardly complain. Ive been back since and continue to be impressed.

I absolutely love my nail technician and pedicurist name Jane. She does such a great job on my nails and feet. Jane is like a therapist I can go there and talk about anything and she listens. When I get my feet done she does a fabulous job and gives one of the best massages. They offer great products at affordable prices. Jane has learned from the best who is her mother which who also works there. I give this salon a 5 star and will always keep going back there.

Although finding them was a little rough, I am in love with this little salon downtown <3 As I was stressed from having so much going on due to it being my wedding day, their staff was super amiable and I was able to talk my stress away. Did an amazing job on my nails and I will be going back any time I need a mani/pedi!!

My mother had her nails done here and when she tried to have the acrylic nail polish removed it took more than two hours of intensive work at another salon before it was completely removed. The nail art was not done well either.
