Wow, this place is a renters dream come true, I had to move to roanoke to pursue a job in security. I wasnt sure if it would be possible to move there with the money my girlfriend and I saved up, I was looking around when I found the perfect place for us, a snazzy two bedroom upstairs apartment. The place was exactly what I wanted wood floors, the whole place remodeled, spacious, right outside downtown, my girlfriend loved it because it because its less than a mile from our "secret spot" (the roof of the center in the square). And it was crazy affordable. It was so affordable I was sure it was going to have some kind of catch like a termite infestation or next door to a murderer or haunted or something. So I scheduled a showing and checked that place out from top to bottom looking for the catch. When I realized there was no catch I took the deal. Signed the papers and got the keys! And found out I got a washer and dryer included! Unfortunately it took a little while to get my first paycheck, thankfully Jason was able to work with me and we made arrangements. The people at there office are all nice, they arent bland or whatever. Unlike most places they have real customer service skills. Overall I would rate the experience 5 stars. Im leaving for the marine corps soon and Ill honestly hate to say goodbye to the place I call home. But I will make whatever sacrifice my country needs me to make, I just hope my next property manager is like the grandin agency ~Michael Brown

Reaver Soul

I sent the company multiple messages over several weeks, no communication. then I called them multiple times to just get a machine. finally, spoke with Jason and have never been treated so rudely by a "professional" in my adult life. As a tenant the only thing I have seen this "agency" do is collect rent and not answer calls. They scheduled an inspection of the unit and a month later an email is sent for it to be rescheduled, no other communication about a cancelation. It was over three weeks before they sent someone to look at my hot water heater, luckily the owner took care of it in less than week. If you want someone who doesnt care about your tenants or property and youre just looking for someone to collect rent youve found the right company.

I am renting a newly finished basement in my house. I called and spoke with Jason who explained why they, as a property management company, would not be able to help me as it does not have its own address. Jason did, however, give me GREAT direction as to what my options might be. Being a first timer at this, his guidance was extremely valuable. If I, in the future, create this apartment as a separate unit I will definately choose to work with The Grandin Agency as my property management company.

Jason very rude when I just inquired about seeing a home. As much as I was interested in the home, I will not deal with someone who unnecessarily was rude since these are the people youll be dealing with for rent/ maintenance.
