If you read reviews and see that a certain stylist did a good job do yourself a favor and wait for that person. Dont just go to the first available. Maria cut my hair, I asked her to cut take off no more than 3 inches. I wanted it to come to a v shape in the back and I wanted sideswept bangs. Not only is it no where near a v shape, the LONGEST part in the back is 6 inches shorter than it was, remember that I wanted no more than 3 inches taken off. The shorter parts are above my shoulders when it did come down almost to my butt. Once again, way more than 3 inches. She did not know what side swept bangs were and when she started to cut them it was with the part in the middle. She made a few cuts and had someone else come and cut the bangs because she didnt know how. While I appreciate her not trying when she didnt know how, how do you do hair for a living and not even know what side swept bangs are? Even after someone else came and did my bangs they arent right and are un-even. All of the ends are choppy. Not to mention that it took almost 2 hours. She didnt blow dry or style my hair so I didnt see how uneven and choppy it was until I got home and my hair was dry. I did call back to the salon and they refunded my money but it doesnt change the fact that my hair is butchered and i cant help but cry when I look at it. Maybe shes new to cutting hair and is still learning but if you dont know how to do more than a simple trim and cut off twice as much as someone wanted, dont attempt to do a different cut.

I dont even want to give one star, even half a star - I wish there was a zero stars option or a -100 stars option. I went to get my hair bleached so i could dye it another color and I went to get it cut. The lady who did my hair, she barely cut it and yes she bleached my hair but it went from being a dark brown to a slightly less brown. She said it would be okay if i dyed over it. I did, the dye didnt stick at all and the brown was still visible. I went back to get it fixed and the manager told me they couldnt bleach it fully and i would have to bleach the color out (it would go back to what it originally was/a slightly less brown then my natural hair) and then come back in two weeks to get it re-done and it would cost more. Thanks! I wish i had listened to the ratings and reviews. NEVER going back again. Charged me a 100 dollars for a lazy cut and bleach, waste of money. DO NOT COME HERE. updated tip: Go to the nearest CVS, buy bleach (make sure you know the level you want to remove) and do it yourself, dont waste 100 dollars like I did. I did it myself and its better then what they did or could have done. I wouldnt even let these people shave my head because theyd probably mess that up as well. Ive cut my hair for my whole life. I accidentally cut off a little more on one side of my hair than the other. I finally gave up and decided it was time to let a salon cut my hair for once, since they should know what theyre doing. I went into Hair Cuttery hoping they could just even up the other side of my slight V shaped hair in the back. I went in and asked if they could cut my hair dry, knowing the harmful affects of cutting hair when wet. I had even straightened my hair and everything, so it would be easier to cut and shape. They insisted it would be easier to cut when wet, so I reluctantly agreed, again thinking they would know what they were doing. They washed and cut my hair in less than ten minutes after I told them I just wanted it to be even on both sides. Well, my hair turned out choppy and almost as uneven as it was when I came in. I didnt voice my concern at the time because I didnt want to cause a scene, but now I wish I did. Back to cutting my own hair and forever going to be uneasy about ever going back to a salon again.

Even though it takes me more than 30 minutes to get to this location, its totally worth it to have Rachel do my hair. I have NEVER had a bad cut or style from her. If she ever leaves, Im screwed.
