As an owner of a small home based business, my computer is vital to every process and functionality of my business operation. After a liquid spill, my $3000 computer was non-functional. I thought after the spill dried the computer would be good as new, I was wrong. My computer was erratic, which in turn slowed down the efficiency of my business. Vacations really worry me, being a Social Media specialist managing accounts I need my laptop to be ready at any time. On our recent vacation I was all prepared except for what the car would do; I wasnt. When we arrived at our stay, my computer was acting really strange. I tried to mess with it some but quickly figured out it had to be an internal issue. I was able to take my laptop in to Geek ABC, and have it fixed within a matter of 30 minutes. A part had bounced loose causing all of the issues, they fixed this for me and had me back to a relaxing vacation stay all in under 1 hour including drive time to the store and back to the stay.

I was getting a weird fan error and my laptop would not start up anymore. GeekABC’s tech said it is a common issue that sometimes happens with computers. If the CPU fan has issues it will prevent the computer from booting in order to stop the CPU from overheating. They said the issue is often resolved with a fan replacement, but they will do their diagnostics to find out if it isn’t a more complex motherboard issue. After their diagnostics they said it was indeed just a fan issue and they gave me price for replacement of the fan. Once I agreed on the price they replaced the fan and m computer is working great now.

Recently I spilled a bit of water on my Mac-book air, I thought it was only a little and not anything to be concerned about, but I soon found out that my keyboard stopped working. I called an official apple repair help line and they quoted me $900!!! I said nope and searched for another repair company and found Geekabc. I stopped by and they said they would be able to fix the problem and quoted me for $300! I chose them and within less than a week I’m here writing this review on a fully functional mac-book! Definitely recommend Geekabc to anyone who wants the best price compared to other companies.

I was very pleased with the service I received at Geek ABC. They were friendly, very nice store and I feel like they were very honest. My laptop keyboard had stopped working and when I dropped it off they said they may need to replace the keyboard. I got a call the next day and they told me the laptop was fixed and that the only thing wrong with it was that a wire had come loose. They could have easily told me the keyboard was bad, replaced it, charged me a whole lot more and I would of never know. If you have problems with your computer or iPad I would definitely suggest checking out Geek ABC.

Richard was professional enough, but as an intermediate level operator who builds my own PCs, I asked whether they would be willing to walk me through some of the diagnostic process. He shied away from it and said they would only speak to the results (new parts and price for repair) of the troubleshooting, but they would not give advice or anything more in depth. He also said he had no clue where else I could go to talk to someone who would be willing to speak to me like a human being (read peer) rather than a customer. They are interested in the next dollar, at the expense of humanity...

I was custom building my first custom gaming rig but after I assembled everything my desktop was not posting. I was very sad as I double checked and triple checked everything and thoroughly checked everything. I took it to Geekabc and after their free diagnostics period they told me that while the CPU I have is compatible with my motherboard, the older motherboard BIOs was not compatible with the CPU. I never would have thought that this would be an issue. Somehow they were able to upgrade the BIOs even without booting the computer and they made my computer work perfectly. Im very happy.

EDIT: They contacted my daughter who this laptop actually belongs to. They made right! They went out of their way to fix the probkem. Im changing my review to excellent! :) ORIGINAL: Horrible service, I took my laptop for them to replace the screen. I paid $200 for everything, 4 weeks after I picked it up, the screen broke again. I took it back hoping there will be some kind of warranty for the work but, nothing! Ricardo was not willing to help me at all! he told me I have to pay another $200 again. Now Im out of $200.00 and no laptop. Bad business..

I brought in my brand new custom built PC because I couldnt get it to display anything to the monitor. My PCs motherboard somehow while assembling the parts and dreaded how much it was going to cost me to replace or repair it. I brought it in after watching the video they had on their page and 1 day later I got a call telling me my PC was fixed and they only charged me for the initial diagnosis/inspection. I kid you not even if I move Ill bring any PC related issues back to these guys. They were fast, inexpensive and effective, what more do you want?

I was recently visiting family in the Washington DC area and my laptop decided to start acting up. I had a couple of important reports to finish up for work and I suddenly couldn’t access them no matter what I tried. My cousin recommended Geek ABC, so I called. This was the easiest, fastest, cheapest, most trustworthy and most polite computer repair technician Ive ever dealt with. Greek ABC was great, knowledgeable and highly professional. Great rate and helped solve my computer problem. I had a virus that we couldnt fix. It took this company less than an hour and everything works perfectly!
