**Do not go to this place.** I strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere. My husband had been going to Shelton Cleaners for several years on his way to or from work and each time I had thought something was off with the charges or he had been overcharged. Recently, I dropped off for him and I was given a reciept. When he went to pick them up he was charged more money and the attendant (or maybe the person is the owner, not sure) said they made a mistake. They also have ruined several clothes and lost shirts in the past. It seems like something goes wrong each season - lost several shirts, ruined buttons/zippers, ruined a winter coat, stained my silk dresses, etc. And to top it off, theyre dishonest! Normally, Im not a complainer type. However, I felt so strongly about this place that I decided to leave my first Google review!

My first experience with this Cleaners was an emergency alteration to a new suit I had purchased for a high-profile government event - they were able to squeeze me in (tailor pants and jacket) for a same-day service!!!! I have used this cleaners for all of my alterations since then (a lot), and all of the alterations are perfect, I dont even try them on when I pick them up. There are numerous cleaners closer to my house, but I dont mind driving the extra miles for great service and friendly staff.

We use this cleaner pretty frequently for their convenience but I wouldnt recommend it for tailoring/ alterations because theyre overpriced even when you give them plenty of time (a week or so). I just go to jennys in Qtown (town of quantico that is behind the base) for those. She never charges more than like $16 or so for same day service on suits we gave her and has amazing results.

Ive been very happy with the level of service that they provide. Although it is on the other side of town from where we live we continue to use them due to the quality and consistency of service.
