this site was the worst I have ever experienced for trying to get a quote & make a reservation on line! Also the availability calendar is not accurate because I had specific days I wanted but by the time they got around to responding to my inquiry, the days were mysteriously gone that I had requested! It took over 48 hrs for a response after two online requests & a message left on the answering machine (during business hours) so needless to say I went elsewhere for a place to stay...good luck to anyone trying to work with these idiots!

We loved our stay! Cabin and views were beautiful. Everything was clean and modern. Only thing we were disapointed about was they didnt allow Saturday check in. We went there after our Saturday wedding but had to pay for Friday night too when we werent even able to stay there until the next day. Also, would be nice if check out time was later. And for the price, and considering cleaners come after we leave, guests shouldnt have to be responsible for taking out trash, sweeping, stripping bed, setting temp, etc.

Although a nice cabin, beware of the Mare Cabin hot tub. It is infested with bacteria which resulted in almost our entire group to develop a rash, requiring antibiotics. Reached out to owner, who dismissed us claiming it is clean. Before getting in, check pH and Chlorine levels, as well as temperature. Besides this issue (which some of us are still dealing with), this is a nice, spacious cabin in a good location. We had a great time.

The cabins are gorgeous! The view was amazing. I have visited the Absolute Perfect Escape cabins a few times and now, and each one has been excellent. They are fully furnished and everything you need is there. The cabins were very clean. The outside common areas are also well kept. Never had any issues with fire pits, hot tubs, or anything else we used. We will return!

I stayed at the Mare House Cabin for New Years with my fiance and some friends. Its a fairly nice cabin, but DO NOT use the hot tub. Our group contracted awful skin rashes due to its inadequate maintenance. Now, almost a month later, were still left dealing with hyperpigmentation and possible scarring.

Do not go in the hot tub. I got a painful rash from it that required me to go to urgent care (Dr confirmed it was from bacteria from the hot tub) and miss three days of work. Tried to tell the owner but he was very dismissive about it. Other than that it was a nice cabin.

I would recommend APE Cabin #4 to any large family - there was ample space and entertainment was provided for all ages - books, games, & toys were provided! The cabin was extremely clean and very inviting! Im sure my family and I will be back again!
