UPDATE: AUGUST 30TH, 2017: ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! DELIGHTFUL PEOPLE.*** Today, I thank Ronald, Isiah and Marquelle, quite delightful gentlemen, who came out, this time to haul away over two dozen books and, also, to carry the last of the convertible sofas from the guest room to another room upstairs. They called earlier to confirm the morning appointment, and to let me know what time they would arrive. This is always so appreciated, as this company realizes that the customers time is very important. There is no guessing about whether or not they are really coming, as is often seen today with other companies. Once again, I was thoroughly pleased and grateful. They gave me an estimate first, after seeing what needed to be done, and were, as usual, so very courteous and careful. Attention to detail is their hallmark. "College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving" representatives have come out to my house four times now. Each time, they have surpassed all expectations and done a wonderful job. The first time, Jeff and Mason S. hauled away my sofa, and were polite, professional, very trustworthy and pleasant. They also gave some approximate ideas about what other jobs might cost. The second time, today, Corey, Zach and Teddy came out, and I was so grateful, because they had found my new cell phone (in a zippered case) next to my driveway, and since they were early, informed me that theyd found it just as I drove up! They hauled away everything I needed done today, and did so expertly, even helping move a very tall hutch back and forth so that I wouldnt have to do that afterwards. I feel very safe and secure having such polite people to help me move things around, and plan on asking them back if I have any new requests. They also answer phone calls very promptly, and surprised me with their ability to come on short notice. Truly remarkable company! UPDATE: MONDAY, AUGUST 28TH, 2017: Once again, College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving of Virginia Beach came out and did a super job, no surprise! Corey and Dante arrived early, after first calling me as a courtesy twenty minutes before their arrival. As always, these gentlemen are courteous, quick to size up the customers needs, and give me the best quote depending on what needs to be done. This time, they quickly moved a tall hutch from the second floor, out to my porch, even helping to re-arrange it there, once I realized it needed to go in the other corner. They hauled away some old book shelving units, and a mattress topper, among other things, and made my week so much easier. Because of their swiftness and capable handling of things, I was able to complete a great deal more household organizing today than if I had waited for someone else to find the time for me. I love that they will help you move furniture from one room to the other. Ladies, we know we do that from time to time, and need reliable, strong people to help. Theyve been out here three or four times now and I know Ill be calling them again in the future. If you have elderly people in your family who want safe, reliable assistance with hauling things away, or just moving a few pieces of furniture, College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving are the best. You can call the national number and they will get you to the group nearest you. In my case, those at the Virginia Beach office are stellar. Tell your friends and family, these people are wonderful! We are renovating our house and used the hunks for the second time yesterday. The first time, we needed a lot of stuff moved from a storage shed and the house to another building on our property in a short time frame. Hunks to the rescue! It worked out great. They were fast and efficient but, most of all, careful with our stuff. They communicated well as a team and worked together to get the job done much faster than we anticipated they would. They worked hard, but also smart. In addition, they could not have been more polite. It really was nice to see young men with manners. When it came time to move more things, we knew just where to call for help. It was a small job but they did not hesitate to get us on the schedule. We were very happy to see two of the hunks from our previous job return. They are Vance and Dante. They brought a new guy, Mason S., with them. Again, they knocked out the job in less time than we thought and were looking for more ways to help. I should also mention that it was 25 degrees and very windy when they were there. Not one complaint about the conditions (except from me)! As we proceed with our renovations, we will be calling them again for help. We have told all our friends about them and also our contractor. I really cannot say enough good things about Vance, Dante and Mason S. Im grateful to have discovered College Hunks. It really does help with the stress to call them!

I called another junk removal company last week to schedule an estimate...They were suppose to be at my home today between the hours of 10 am and 11 am...At 10:45 am I called the office to make sure I was still on the schedule I was assured nothing had changed...They were going to call the driver and then call me back. Well 11 am came, went and no one showed up to my home. My brother then googled and found this AMAZING company!! When I called in a wonderful young lady answered and was able to fit me in today for an estimate and possible pick-up. I was given a time frame they would be out to see me, between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, also I would get a call 30 minutes before to let me know they were on the way. Sure enough, I received a courtesy call letting me know they were running behind but on the way to me. At 2 pm, my door bell rang and 3 very professional and friendly gentlemen were at my door! Gave a great presentation about their company and 50 minutes later the junk I needed removed was GONE!! If I ever need any junk gone from my home I will NOT hesitate to call College H.U.N.K.S!!! Truly appreciate you guys!! And Im still waiting on a call back from the other company as I write this review smh.

Parke was extremely helpful and patient with schedule changes after the death of my Dad. Darnell and Ronelle were right on schedule, called ahead to be sure we were ready, were very quick and careful about what was to be removed and what stayed in the house. They are a very professional organization, trustworthy, efficient and fun to work with. I would highly recommend them for moving and hauling. Thank you for your exceptional service at a difficult time for my family. UPDATE 3/20/2017 Second time we have used this fantastic service! 10 stars! I live in Oregon and the house is in Virginia so long distance arrangements......PERFECT! Parke graciously returned calls quickly and reassured me everything would be taken care of. Corey, Zach, Mason, Vance and Josiah were extremely professional, courteous and hard working. The furniture and stuff was packed and moved in record time. I highly recommend this company. Thanks again HUNKS! I am a happy and grateful customer. Use these guys....very reasonable and efficient.
