The Staff at AAAA Self Storage was incredibly helpful when it came to transferring my unit. I had a large unit for about 2 months, and needed to downsize to a smaller unit. LaToya helped me by quickly finding the exact size I needed, got the transaction done in minutes and I was able to move my things the very next day with no interruption to my service or payments. I have a feeling at other places I would have had a hassle or had to pay extra fees, but was so happy I used AAAA instead. The units are clean, and if there is something wrong, i.e. lightbulb out, they fix it ASAP. The first time we moved in we were running late and she extended the time our movers were allowed to come into the unit by about a half hour so they could finish. It was incredibly helpful during the very stressful moving time. They really made our move so much easier.

I am in the military which has brought me to the Hampton roads area. I have rented storage units in my time, this has been by far the worst experience of my life. On top of my unit being infested with rodents and valued and cherished personal belongings from my daughters childhood having to be thrown away (because there were dead rodents and layers of feces and urine, see pics attached), the unit that they moved me into while all of this was getting situated, has been rented out and other valued belongings I had (in the new unit) were "thrown" away by staff because they did not know that unit was mine. Do not rent a storage unit from here.

Katie Barry was a great help to me. Im currently moving all of my belongings into one of their bigger units, and Katie informed me I could downgrade to a small unit whenever needed. I also rented a U-Haul from her, and AAAA reimburses the base cost of the U-Haul towards the next months rent of the storage unit...AWESOME!! I went to a few other storage places in Norfolk, and this one seemed to be the most convenient for my needs. I will be a customer for a long time!!

Have been storing furniture for more than 10 years. Storage rooms are spacious; staff is always very nice and courteous; helpful with problems. Sometimes it takes a while to get things done, e.g. the back wall of my unit had to have the brick plastered as it was shedding on my goods, but it was fixed in due course and I no longer have a problem. Access times are convenient including Sunday. Again, very cooperative staff.

I work for a mortgage company in Virginia Beach (Southern Trust Mortgage) and we spent two days pulling files from our storage facility located here. The facility manager, Amy Cuevas, was the epitome of a great manager! She would even help us with moving boxes and locating files. The first day we went she even stayed an hour and a half later than closing. Amy needs a raise and we highly recommend this location!

Let me first say that the customer service here is amazing. I rented a truck on Saturday and needed to keep the truck an extra day. Ray and Edward were both very helpful and answered all my questions. Moving can be stressful, but they made sure that I had a reliable truck (with AC better than my personal car) at a reasonable price. When I move out of my storage unit, I will use another truck from this location.

The flexibility of our rental terms has been helpful as we have juggled moving our home several times. The hours for access have been convenient as well.

The only problem I deal with is the change in the atmosphere when it goes from absolute hot to freezing cold. Other than that everythings just fine.

The manger and staff were very friendly and efficient (I was in a rush)....one small thing, if your storage unit is on upper levels, be careful, especially with kids. If I had known that the elevator was as ancient as they are, I would have requested on the lower levels.
