1st timer .... my coworker suggested we go for lunch so trusting him we all ordered by ph loaded up and made our way down to J & K grill.... pleasingly they had reserved seating for the 7 of us when we arrived friendly greetings from the door then dwn hill from there .... for starters the waitress told us they ddnt offer lemonslices for the water ok thts cool and the food was coming quickly and it was hot but unfortunately it wasnt the best the jerk chkn was dry and the Golden honey wings was tossed in cold sauce tht tasted like honey mustard and BBQ sauce mixed..... the fish sandwich was kind of over cooked and hard not to mention they charged for a pickle extra tartar & onion. The cheese fries had a square sandwich slice of white cheese hardly melted on them which was immediately brought to the attention of the coughing waitress who grab my arm when I just simply got up to grab a few of our plates bc she was taking to long to bring our food to the table tht was just sitting on the counter because she said out loud tht she was "overwhelmed" ....anywho the waffle sliders had a bland taste and to top it off I understand salt is bad for you but thts my choice and I was told they dont offer salt only their special J & K seasoning which only tasted like onion powder and pepper ( not so good) . But I must admit the steak n chez rolls were tasty. Needless to say I probably wont make it bck for a second round but if I do the steak n chez rolls would be my only choice. Great location and decent pricing and the big guy behind the counter had a good spirit.

I have heard so many good things about this place and I am happy to say they lived up to my expectations. Customer service: A. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted, we waited maybe 2-3 minutes before we were seated and our drink orders were taken. I felt like I was one of the family! Never had to ask for a refill and they made time to talk to us and make us feel welcomed. Food: A. I had the famous waffle burger, an order of their wings, and the cheese steak egg rolls. The wings were nothing short of spectacular and a solid home run. The burger...I recommend ordering the burger and fries so thats all you can focus on because trust me...youll take your time savoring the amazing flavor it has to offer. The egg rolls blew my mind! Hot, Fresh, and dipped in a savory teriyaki sauce. Value: A. With the reputation they have I expected it to be expensive, Im happy to say that was not the case. Lastly, Cleanliness: C. Now, dont get me wrong. It was clean for the most part. I have to be fair on how I do my reviews though. The bathroom could have been better. There was trash on the floor and a couple of dirty tables that needed to be attended to. This isnt me complaining, Im just stating what I saw. I mean in all honesty at the end of the day it felt like a mom and pops diner and those are always the best. Will I be back? H*** YES! Overall: A.

Was horrible. Waitress waited on us within 5 minutes. Gave her drink order and never received them. Ever. 10 MINUTES after we put in drink order also put in food order. Still no water which was what we asked for to drink.. 47 MINUTES later we are sitting still with no drink silverware or anything. A couple at the last table receives their food and again asked for 2 glasses of water please a few minutes later, still no drinks.. mean while now an hour later they put a burger in front of my husband. No fries still no drink. Nothing for me either. So We wait a few minutes still nothing. Not even a hello how are you. Sorry its taking so long. Nothing. We didnt touch the burger and left. Not the first bad experience. Tryed two times. Strike two times. Was late for lunch and made sure we spread the word through the three dealerships via email. To avoid is not able to keep up or serve. Also very very rude....i rate 00000000

Great diner experience. The seasoned fries are fantastic and the waffle burger is a favorite of mine as it combines two of my favorite things: breakfast and burgers, give it a try! Veteran owned and operated, very family friendly, quickly becoming a staple of the community. My son (3) and I went there one day to catch a quick bite for lunch. The little man ordered a pancake, which wasnt on the menu, simply because waffles is the house specialty. The chef overheard his order and using the house waffle batter, poured the little guy a pancake on the grill, you cant buy that kind of service! Highly recommended, highly praised, always a good choice.

Came here because of my daughter mydaughter Ive come here three different times wanted to bring a friend bring a friend the wings are fantastic the food its excellent but the service really really sucks I came down here from Charlotte because my daughter raved about the wings here compare the food against the service theres a lot of room for improvement I will refer my friends if the service improves itself

I ate my first waffle burger on Monday and Tuesday I was back for more. I consider myself a well rounded "FOODIE" but this place is a step above casual dining. It is definitely Fine Dining in a casual atmosphere with a super friendly staff. Oh, did I mention they offer specials not found on the menu! Could it be possible to have found a restaurant who actually aim to satisfy their customers, Im in heaven!

Had read about this restaurant in the pilot and had been wanting to try. Upon entering was immediately greeted and felt welcome, they were quite busy. Alot of interesting items on the menu, you can see your food being prepared, and wait is short. The aroma makes you very hungry. I ordered wings and philly egg rolls and they were amazing. Will definitely go again and again.....waffle burger next

I was torn between a 3 & 4, i went for the four because,what a bunch of great friendly people! Food was exactly what I expected, calorie loaded goodness. I tried all the JK signature items and they were very tasty. So, why the 3 consideration, the big- JK was simply too large to manage as a burger, ask for it open face. Meals were out 4-5 min apart, it was HOT when it came out...but still.

The burger was a burnt, dry piece of gray colored mystery meat . The waffle tough and tasteless. I cant understand why others seem like this stuff. Overall very disappointing and overpriced. My meal of burger and side of fries was well over 10 bucks. There are plenty of other places in vah bch to get a decent meal for that $, look elsewhere for good food.

was told about this place so I checked it out ordered 15 wing 3 different flavors but that order wasnt very good Mr Dooley apologize to me and told me he would make it right which he did redo my order and I was very satisfied with the food the wings were excellent very flavorful I will definitely be coming back and I suggest you do too thanks mr. Dooley
