Beyond pissed!!! Made this appt 2 weeks ago!!! So i dont get my hair braided much but the few times i have i always give Masusu Kinks the benefit of the doubt because despite the fact my time and location that im given is never correct, i still get a good stylist. But today is the last straw. I had a 9 am appt got there at 9:10 by 920 nobody is still at the va beach location so i start calling to only get no answer, then i text the number that was on the voicemail and i get TEXTED BACK, NOT CALLED (UNPROFESSIONAL) and im told this story about she was driving when she made my appt so she didnt get a chance to take my number so she couldnt call me back to reschedule me for newport news...not true b/c i know i gave her all my info including hair color plus i could hear the stylist in the background and she kept putting me on hold to speak to someone to try and get my appt date correct when she kept saying the 15th and i kept saying no i need Friday the 17th!!!! So now as an inconvenience to me i have to drive to the newport news locatiom when i live 5 min from the va beach location. So now the only reason im going is because im 8 1/2 months pregnant and my BABY SHOWER IS TOMORROW!!! THIS PLACE REALLY DONT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS, THIRD STRIKE, I END UP IN NEWPORT NEWS EVERYTIME IVE SCHEDULED FOR NORFOLK OR VA BEACH. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN AFTER THIS APPT!!!! Mind you as im still sitting there at 9:41 someone finally pulls up and opens the shop but im still told to come to newport news instead!!!!

Made an appointment three days prior in order to secure my spot because my time is valuable. My appointment was canceled by the shop 20 minutes before my actual appointment time and rescheduled for later time which wasnt a problem although it was inconvenient because I was already on my way to the shop. I go to the salon two hours later the time my appointment as pushed back to and no one was there AT ALL. The door was locked and of course the multiple numbers the shop has no one answered. I stayed 20 minutes to see in anyone would show up but no one showed. I didnt receive a courtesy call or even an apology. If there had to have been to be cancelation I wouldve understood because things happen but the fact I didnt receive notification is unacceptable especially after I drove 30 minutes there. Never will I waste my time with this business again!

Very unprofessional. I made an appointment 2 days prior only for my stylist to text me and tell me that shes leaving early. So I should switch my hairstyle to something that would still be time consuming or come to Newport News. Then she gave me the option of coming in the next day, she told me she was checking the schedule. But I have checked the schedule on their website and there werent any times available for that day.
