Before stopping in I called and ask "how much to have my beard trimmed and shaped?" " the gentleman who answered the phone replied "$10.00". Upon entering the hair studio I was quickly greeted and seated. I immediately noticed that it was filthy and unorganized, like teenagers worked there. While receiving my consultation my barber spent about 5 minutes untangling the several pairs of clippers he had all stuffed into a drawer which set the stage. He barely spoke English and when I described how I normally trim my beard he looked at my like I was stupid, literally. He did an OK job, his straight razor was dull and kept pulling on my hair and I had to ask him to trim my mustache before he walked away. He did take it entirely too far to up, it should grow back in a week. The best part about the entire ordeal was when I went to pay, even though there is a sign above ever chair with a price guide (sign read, $6.00 beard) my barber still asked the only other barber there how much to charge. The second Barber replied $8.00 and it comes out to $8.00 and some change after you ring him up". I can only assume that the only English speaking barber in the store was the one who told me $10 when I called in, and is now telling me $8 even though the sign reads $6.... On a side note, I listen to the other barber (possible owner) discuss with his client the benifits of smoking weed and how it helps him sleep the entire time I was there. 1- poor cut 2 - poor service 3 - felt lied to 4 - manipulated 5 - poor hygiene 6 - would not go back

I usually dont ever write reviews but, I will today. At first, I liked the barbershop. The reason why I gave this barbershop 3 stars was because of my experience. I had about 3 - 5 haircuts. Ive noticed most barbers do not shave after cutting hair--if they do, its not complete. Several times I have noticed some haircuts Ive had there, did not look professional at all. A few weeks ago, I had a really bad haircut. The owner of the barbershop told me to stop by to either get a refund or a haircut next time I come in. Before I came to the barbershop I cut my hair completely bald. Why? I did not want to go to work with a bad haircut. You might be asking yourselves the barber has to know if there is something you want fixes. The barber that cut my hair that day did not hand me the portable mirror. Instead, he turned me around to see his work. I thought it was good. Of course, when I looked closely, it was horrendous. Not only did he give me a bad haircut but, he was making fun of my hair. For me, everything he said that day was offensive. The reason for a refund is to get your money back because you did not like the service. Im an honest man. I dont take advantage of people. I was dissatisfied with the service. I could never get my refund. The one barber told me to text him next time I want a cut. Why would I want that? The environment is so confusing aso well. There is no structure either, other than signing a paper. Thats all I have to say--for now.

I have been going to All-Stars Hair Studio since it had first opened up a couple of years ago. But lately, Ive noticed that theres been VERY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Barbers (Ryan, Tito, and some crew members) have been yapping and yapping a whole lot lately. And YES....................Even using language that is inappropriate for kids. Looks like their phones are more important than customers: Like pairing their cell phone with speakers so as to listen to inappropriate music (Fetty Wap, and Drake) It has turned into a ghetto environment. Although the fact that they see over 8 costumers waiting to get a hair cut, these guys wont just shut-up and do their work. CUSTOMERS FIRST!! LEAVE THE NON-STOP YAPPING FOR AFTER WORK. Come on Mr. C.....................if you want your business to remain open, be vigilant on the type of personnel you have working for you!! Other than that, Mr. C is a very friendly person.

I was just in there today with my fiances son to get his hair cut for the military ball tonight. And like always Sean(fiances son) and myself were very happy with our visit. Mr. C always takes the short moment to greet us even when with a client. Which I think is great! We have just about been to every barber there and they all know what they are doing and do a great job. This is why they are so busy and even though you might have to wait(which should be expected with walk ins) its worth it. I have been going here with Sean for a little over a year now and couldnt be happier. The first time Seans mom asked me to take him for a hair cut I told Sean that we would try this place and then next time try another to find a barber that we can go to on a regular basis. Well to be honest I never thought it would be the first place we checked. Thanks guys!!!

Although I previously gave a negative review based on my experience with the owner, Mr. C, my recent experience with barber Felix has changed my perspective. Felix is a master Barber. It goes beyond cutting hair. He understands depth and precision. He is one of those barbers who is a gifted artist and brings that artistry to his work. I saw him turn my friend from a homeless looking bum with a big untamed afro into a chic, modern, sophisticated man and the effect was astonishing. All Stars is lucky to have someone like Felix and if you do drop by, make sure to request Felix.

All Stars is a GREAT Barbershop! before I became a regular I was struggling to find the right barber. I came into all stars and loved the atmosphere and the way my hair was cut. The people inside are great , they welcome you, make you feel comfortable and are fast! they are fast and good at what they do. I see a lot of people bashing the shop and the people but from personal experience I would tell you not to judge the shop based off that. everyone from the owner to the youngest barber are great people.

Parents beware!!! Not a kid friendly "shop". Extremely unprofessional and GHETTO environment. This was our first time and we actually left 10 mins into our wait... Has a cheap, dingy, and unsanitary decor with barbers that look as if they were just released from incarceration. Im from NYC and am an educated professional; all this is a ghetto shop in an middle-upperclass suburb... Parents stick with Kids Cut in West Reading or another quick salon... Good luck!!!

I took my son there & the unskilled barber put a patch in my sons head & tried to say he came in like that & then the OWNER said that the bald spot was a fungus infection similar to ring worm. What a joke!!! I wasnt surprised when I emailed the pics of his hair completely grown back & I heard nothing back. I wouldnt recommend this place if they were giving away cuts for free!!!
