I just called for an appointment to get my sons hair cut. I was told that because I had never been seen there before, I would have to walk-in and the wait usually isnt long. I explained to the girl that the last time I tried to walk-in to this very salon (Hair Cuttery) one evening, it was an hour and forty-five minute wait. Her response was, oh really? She also said, the only people who take appointments are the master stylist. Uh sure, but what does that mean to me? If you are going to use words like "master stylists" over the phone, please be more informative and better versed as to how you treat a stuation. If I like what I see and how I feel about the overall customer service, I am loyal and take care of my stylist.. My husband and I both arent cheap about great service and are big on recommendations.. But what does that mean to them? Forget about a warm welcoming experience, it seems the master stylists have it covered. You see, its the impression. My point is, people need to feel accommodated whether or not they are able to be seen. They may walk away knowing you are trying your best and look forward to their patronage or walk away disappointed and annoyed. And for goodness sake, please take care as to who you put at your phones. The tone should not be whatever. They are your voice.

I have been going to Tita at Hair Cuttery for 16 years! While I cannot comment on the others that work there, I have not only gotten great hair cuts and great service; I have gained a wonderful friend! Tita has always listened to how I would like my hair cut and accommodated changes in my hair styles and special requests when it comes to length and shape. I have always been more than satisfied with her styling abilities and will go no where else! It makes it a little tough when she is on an occasional vacation, but changing my scheduled appointment around her infrequent absences is always worth the wait! Tita is absolutely SUPER! Love hair cuttery, but this location is cramped and takes FOREVER! First time I came in I was 1 of 2 people waiting and didnt get out of there any earlier than an hour...for a hair cut that took less than 5 mins. 2nd time I waited for nearly 10 mins standing at the entrance/register/styling product/waiting area while 3 employees were performing a full out literature review of how to refund a customers purchase...didnt even get checked in even though there were 2 registers. No thanks, Ill go somewhere else...how many hair stylists does it take to run a cash register? Answer: more than 3, thats for sure.

I received a Keratin Treatment here about 6 months ago. It was a very busy salon for the weekday so obviously people feel pretty comfortable coming to the particular Hair Cuttery. The stylist who did my keratin treatment was named "Vita" and she was extremely professional. She explained the process to me in detail and took her time to achieve the best results. For those interested in this process, I would advise you to visit your local Hair Cuttery. They will give you accurate information on the treatment and I believe they do it for half the price of other hair salons.

Ive used Hair Cuttery before but this was my first time at this location. I was greeted when I came in and they were able to take me as a walk-in with a fairly short wait. Keisha cut my hair, I wasnt looking to do anything drastic just needed to redefine my layers, add some layers and frame my face with a longer bang. Im obsessed with my hair. Keisha listened to all I wanted, looked at my reference pictures and it came out perfectly. Ill definitely be back with my son for his trim ups! Thank you so much for a subtle but new hair cut I feel great!

Hair Cuttery has a bad rep. Just like any salon you have to find a great stylist and stop trying to get more for less. I have been going to the same stylist for 20 years - Christa - and she was Phenomenal! She has now moved but she didnt leave me high and dry. Her sister now works at this location - AND she is AMAZING!!!!! Great stylists listen to what you want and they are always open to give the best recommendations to suit your style. And best of all they care for the health of your hair! I love these guys!

The woman that cut my hair was polite and easy to talk to but my haircut was awful. I asked for a low fade starting with a one and received a high fade. Not only did I not get what I asked for but I inspected my hair closer when I got home and you can clearly see that each side of my head is not even and not faded properly. The only reason I gave a two star rating is because the woman was super nice. If I had more thumbs Id give this haircut 5 thumbs down.

We have been going to Hair Cuttery at Kemps River Shopping Center since 1996. My youngest still sees Destiny regularly...he trusts her with his designer look. If we dont make an appointment we may have to wait 20 minutes or so since they are a very busy shop! The wait is usually no big deal since we can walk up the sidewalk to one of the restaurants or shoe stores.

I loved loved loved my stylist, Courtney. However, my sister went at the same time I did. The girl, Nicole, who did her hair, took 5 minutes to cut her hair and gave her a mullet. And when my sister asked about the layers that the girl butchered, the stylist got an attitude. If you go, go see Courtney.

I love these ladies. I went into have my hair dyed and I have never been happier with the out come. They listen to their customers and always have their best wishes in mind. I also went back to have my done for a party, I see myself coming back again for my hair cut in a few weeks.

Absolutely amazing experience! Keisha was awesome. She walked through everything she was doing when i had no clue what i wanted. She was engaging and funny and laid back. I literally fell asleep while she washed my hair!

Horrible. I asked for layers and got a chop job. Although I will say the lady hat fixed it did what she could do for me not to look like Joe dirt anymore. I literally got a mullet, and asked for layers.
