I setup a request for an appointment online for an oil change on my vehicle. Shortly after making that request I was contacted by I would guess one of the technicians or maybe the manager named James. Very polite on the phone explained to me he could not fit me in that exact day since it was almost near 4pm and they close at 5pm. I then explained that I wanted to set the appointment up for the following day because I assumed they would not be able to fit me in that exact day since I was leaving work late, and I work a very far distance away from this location. He said it would be no problem to set me up for the following day, and after explaining my situation with work since I normally get off around 330pm and it takes me 40 minutes to get back in that area he told me as long as I make it by 415pm they could fit me in. I agreed to that appointment and explained I will leave work early and make it there right on time. So today is the day and I leave work 30 minutes prior just to make it on time to the shop and when I make it there around 350pm he tells me he cannot honor my appointment. He explained they were backed up and that they have a walkin who would be the last person to take for the day. Mind you I have never been to this location, I work every day of the week for which I will be working doubles until 730pm 40 minutes away, and I set my appointment for this specific time and day just so I can get my oil change before my 4 hour trip this weekend for the holiday. He tried to set me up for the following day for which I then explained my situation and still denied my vehicle service, told me to come in Saturday which is the day im leaving. Next time an employee at this location sets up an appointment they should not accept any walkins knowing they have other vehicles that setup appointments to be serviced. I do not make complaints, bad reviews, nor make scenes I am a very polite and respectable person, but the way James handled this situation was not right nor fair. Do not accept an appointment and give the person a specific time to come in if you cannot honor it, and then to make matters worse not even call to let the person know you cannot honor it. So never again will I go to a Midas because of bs like this. Thank you for letting me ramble hope everyone reads this and thinks twice about making an appointment at this location. Adios.

8/24/16-I wish I could give no stars. Last night my fiances radiator went out. We brought it to Midas because it was the closest place. They were closed so he went back this morning. First they told him it would be $80 to do a diagnostic check. For a radiator? Then he was told it would cost $875 to replace it. He told Midas that he may be able to get the parts himself & they told him the labor, by itself, would be $550. He called another shop nearby & was told they would charge only $300 for labor. He was able to get the parts for $100 for a total of $400. So, of course, he called Midas back to let them know he will be taking it somewhere else & was told, by the female who answered the phone, that they have already started working on it & he could either have it towed or pay $100 to have his car put back together. He did not authorize the work to be done so he asked to speak with the tech who he originally spoke to. She stated he is the manager & was not there. He is waiting to hear back from the corporate office. 8/25/16 3:00pm-UPDATE: Once corporate got involved, Midas agreed to charge $300 for labor. They returned my fiancé’s call today around 1:00 stating the replacement radiator he brought them is defective & it will be another $200 for labor to put another one in & they will have it pulled out of the car by 3:00. He then called Midas around 2:30 to let them know he is on his way with the new radiator & needs the "defective" one back. Jessie said the defective one will not be pulled until tomorrow. She stated James, the manager, is at lunch & won’t be back for 1 1/2 hours. 8/26/16 9:30am-UPDATE: According to Midas, the second radiator my fiance brought them is defective as well. It has been confirmed by a third party that the mechanic striped the threads on the first one but of course Midas is denying that. 8/27/16-UPDATE: We were finally able to get the car back from Midas. It doesnt seem to be leaking although my fiance will have another mechanic look at it since Midas said it was defective. They also charged almost $100 over the original $300 labor quote they gave earlier.

Honestly i can agree they are indeed a ripoff and take advantage of you. One is there hidden cost i found out about from a neighbor who has taken for a ride awhile back when i was talking to her the other day. they charge you a hidden cost of like 15 or 16% ofthe total sales ticket and by law supposedly they can. really ?!?!? she took her car in for a engine diagnostic and was like 79.99 and they chaged her an extra 15 dollars or so on top of that. when she asked why they said it was a extra charge and use of the equipment. really ?!?!? so we are getting charged for bringing our vehicle to you. have done some digging and found out companies like that do this to help cover their franchising fee and make a extra and quick buck by cutting into our wallets. my experience was just not right and i looked on my receipt and saw this extra charge as well...hidden in supply fees lol . i was charged for a brake flush with my oil change which is fine it was suggested by the factory sheet they gave me. however they didnt flush the brake system they just took the fluid out of the brake reservoir and added to it. how do i know this ? i was bored and watched them do it and described it to my father and he said they would have to break the lines on the brakes and all they did was suck the fluid out of the reservoir. when i contacted midas corportation i got the hey have some coupons we are sorry and we will look into this matter immediately. places like this really dont have the right to be in business and it amazes they do when all they do is cut our throats and take the money and run to the next poor sap. oh btw i heard the owner of the franchise was a banker or was in the financial field...figures lol.

I droped my car for oil change at 12pm and they told me it will be done after 2 hr. Around 6pm I went to the shop because I didnt get a phone call and when I call to the shop no body Answer. When I get there the shops was closed and my car is inside. I was so mad because no one called me and let me know about it. My work shoes and tools was inside my car and I was left out from option for next day work. Finally the cleaner guy from outside call the owner and he open the shop for me and I get my car back without the oil change. This is the second time I have issue with the shop. First they told me my brake was good without checking it and I ask the mechanic if he checked it and said he did but the other mechanic at the same shop checked it again and told me that my brake was so bad and needs to be changed. At that moment I wasnt even sure if they really change my oil at all. The owner Michel is good guy but the people who work there failed to earn my trust. I was so disappointed after 5 year their quality and hounesty went down.
