I cant say enough about this mechanic. We had a terrible unusual noise coming from the wheel well of our car. We were traveling through Auburn going to Leavenworth for a ski trip weekend. We had hotel reservations a few blocks from here. I found this shop through the AAA website. I dropped my vehicle off first thing in the morning and was prepared for terrible news of course. I noticed it was a smaller shop, but well maintained shop, with only two work bays which had vehicles in them. They said they would get to my vehicle as soon as possible and let me know. I had pretty much prepared myself to not hear from them until later afternoon and probably canceling my ski trip weekend with the family. I was preparing myself to share the bad news with my wife and kids and went back to the hotel to ask for an extended checkout time and possibly a few more nights stay. In only about two hours I received a phone call. The repair shop had done a multi inspection point safety check, checked out brake work brake lines and all other important access points and said they found nothing wrong! They wanted to drive the vehicle around the block one more time just make sure they hadnt missed anything and then the said the car should be ready to be picked up! I couldnt believe it! I walked back to the repair shop after 30 minutes after their call. They said they think I had some particles in between my brake pads and rotors but it had worked itself out and they were just fine and good shape. They said the car was fine, intact, and ready to go for the weekend ski trip! I could not believe I found an honest mechanic on a road trip! They could have said it was anything and knew I would pay to get it fixed! I found out this is a family business, locally owned and theyve been there serving the community for years. Take your car here without hesitation! Ive thought about driving back 2 hrs just to get serviced here! Again, I cant say enough about their care, class, and service. Honest. First class outfit. Top notch. Thanks again.

I got a quote from them, and it was ridiculously inflated. When I asked the guy about the huge difference in price, he was so rude, I swore I would never go back. And yes, I had been an established customer at the time. Last week I was in an accident causing my clutch rod to break, so AAA was going to tow me here. I called them while I waited for the tow truck to let them know my car was coming & to get an idea about how long it would take. Again, RUDE! He told me he was on the back side of Friday afternoon (it was 2:30) and that he was closed on the weekends & he wouldnt even look at it till Monday morning. Now, I realize that. Thats not the problem. Say it with a little bit of compassion. I just got rear ended & AAA is about to deliver business to your doorstep. Be nice or you wont see me there. I called AAA & told them to tow me anywhere but here, and I filed a complaint with AAA. They pride themselves with providing good customer service. They dont get it from this place. I went to Regal Car Care instead, and I was VERY PLEASED. A Street will never get my business.

This note is long overdue, I want to say A street auto is just awesome. Alan and the crew have been taking care of my vehicles for well the last 130k on my Dakota, never had a bad experience or issue. I dont think I have ever had a shop repair done that pays attention to detail as well. I just had a water pump replaced and coolant not only did it work great you cant even tell it was worked on. Usually, you find busted plastic clips, clamps, stripped bolt heads even missing parts and such, after you get the vehicle back. I know that sounds small, but it shows me the time was taken for the whole job done well. Not just get under book time. Little things like that really mean a lot. If there is ever any problem after, they do a super job making sure it is taken care of and you leave happy. A Street is really an exceptional shop. I dont even have a problem leaving a credit card number and saying "give me a call when done" Just cant say enough, finally a place I trust. I am tired of doing repairs and such myself. Thank you A Street Auto

I will take this chance to commend A Street Automotive for the way they conduct business. They have very high work ethics with an eye on customer service. My wife and I are always treated very warmly and respectfully by their staff. They are very thorough in making sure everything is looked on our vehicles. They always tell us the facts about what repairs are needed and do give helpful recommendations on items that might need attention. They never try to sell us something we do not need. I trust them 100%. I am a customer service representative myself, and know how customers like to be treated. Being honest and straightforward with people is key to a good business relationship. I have personally known Allan, the owner of A Street, for 27 years and he has always been a very respectful businessman. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to having them keep our vehicles running smoothly. Sincerely, Danny Mauritsen

My wife and I moved to the Auburn area in 2001, we looked for a good automotive repair shop to service our vehicles. We found what we were looking for at A Street Automotive. We have experienced nothing but great friendly service from Allan the staff. We are not very mechanically inclined, and we appreciate that Allan takes the time to fully explain things in terms that we can understand for what is needed to keep our vehicles in top running condition. He gives us options to take care of the things that are needed. We have never been disappointed with the service and it is comforting to know that Allan and his staff stand behind their work. If you look around the shop you will find that it is very clean, organized and has a warm friendly atmosphere. Since finding A Street Automotive, we have not found a need to go anywhere else for our vehicle repairs.

I have been taking my Nissan Altima to A Street Auto for over 10 years. It recently hit 150,000 miles and A Street Auto did a terrific job on the maintenance. They replaced the Breaks and found an issue with the front end. Car drives like new. I even had new tires put on days after A Street completed my work at a big name tire chain. The big name chain broke one of the wheel lugs off and just said sorry. I called up A Street and sure enough I got in on the same day. A Street fixed my lug immediately on my return at absolutely no charge. Not even for parts. The owner is fantastic. Thats representative of the service I have received over the last decade and will continue to go to A Street.
