The gym is clean with good equipment. The staff is friendly but apathetic. Upon arrival they dont greet you with much enthusiasm and Ive had to wait for service many times (buying merchandise) until they finish their personal conversations. Going off peak hours is a must with all the new construction of apartments and houses in the area. The main reason for the poor review is their typical gym financial dealings. I was charged $25 twice for nsf fees when the monthly fee did not go through. I had money in my account and my bank had no record of the attempt to withdraw. I also carry overdraft protection...? I offered proof that I had sufficient funds but I was told if I disputed the charges they would take me to collections. I switched the method of withdrawal to personal check each month which resolved this issue. I also paid first and last month dues when I signed up and when I cancelled my memebership they informed me I had to cancel two months in advance since I had paid last months when I signed up. If youre confused by this, well so am I.

Joined last week. So far so good. I believe its a bit more crowded due to summer break, Im hoping itll quiet down a bit once its over. Plenty of cardio machines; treadmills, ellipticals, stairmasters, and row machines. Weight room area could be spread out a bit better. Not enough room to lift free weights. They also have a bunch of smith type machines (whatever you call the circuit machines)

If you move OUT OF STATE this company lacks the common courtesy of cancelling your membership. Knowingly continuing to charge you your membership fee anyway lacks professionalism and class. This lack of customer service should reflect upon your decision of wanting to become a member. I believe money is what drives them into NOT wanting to do the right thing. Shame on them.

I quit this gym a few years ago. They are way too eager to charge you late fees if your card # changes (I lost mine) and the charge doesnt go through. LA Fitness has never charged me such a fee. Also, their sauna is almost never hot and the circuit breaker is constantly tripping and turning it off. If you enjoy a sauna sit after your workout, dont count on it here.

Top quality equipment, friendly staff, not often crowded. Great atmosphere for all ages; not a "meat head" gym. The location is perfect for local lakeland residents

Nice, smaller gym with lots of different classes. I just dont like that they charge extra for certain (popular or new) classes. Should be all included.

Ive joined a few times. I have to use them because they are the ONLY gym convenient to my place. They are very overpriced, crowded, and snutty.
