Well I am going to give it a good rating as when I read all these ratings on here , they are very unrealistic , and sound more like personal problems with the user. They have great instructors I like the yoga classes and body pump is awesome! Zomba is a lot of fun too! The instructors really get into it! I enjoy the pool and the hot tub, my expectation, is that a lot of people use it so people may not be the cleanliest, but for the most part most of them are. And it is awesome that they have classes for seniors (I am not one) but know how much older people need to keep working too! And to complain that they are still in the pool after their class is just bad manners! They are some the nicest and wisest people to converse with and so welcoming! Of course there will be a high turn over of young not always best mannered just out of school employees . This is not a place that people make a career out of! Its a minimum wage job a starter place! Most need some direction . and yes they do not know what they are doing, but looking at their phone or talking to friends . So you just need to tell them what to do be their boss and you will do just fine! Well I have been a member for a long time since before it was a super sport, so I actually do not have to deal with the staff, I just put my finger on the scanner and my number in . And look at the staff as amusement . I suppose if they hired professionals to check you in then the membership would not be as low as it is. The class instructors a great! I have not had an issue with any equipment that I have used. Although I tend to look for the positive in all I do . There are a couple of really nice gals that check you in they are always friendly and happy.

My wife and I are both working professionals with two kids, 8 months and 5 years old. I am an ex college football player who then joined the military and has been working out for in excess of 20 years We have had to move due to work and struggle to get workout/family time in. We recently moved up from Florida where our kids club membership was included. At the club in Covington, they charged us $40/month in addtion to our club membership fees. My wife and I saw the great facilities and gave it a shot. We enjoyed the facilities, they are very nice. However, for an additional $40/month we thought we would get some great service with the kids club. Not the case. We had to come and get our youngest son after less than 15 minutes during 3 of our 5 workouts there. Totally unsatisfactory. We realize all parents think their kids are great. We think ours are and so do most other people. The one thing I would say is that we have been a member of Golds Renton and also of the LA Fitness in Renton and the LA Fitness in Federal Way with zero issues with our children..... Normally getting great feedback on the great kids. The friendliness of the staff is fine, unless you are trying to speak to them about membership or child care issues with the club. We have now been members of the LA Fitness three miles to the east on Kent Kangley road for four months now with no issues. Pros: -Great Facilities - Towel Service Cons: - Sales Staff try to push you to signup for multi-year plans that cost in excess of $500 ( can you say Ballys? -Mediocre customer service - Expensive Childcare - ineffective Childcare

The club is good and has plenty of various machines. There is hardly ever a wait to use a machine or other item. Everything is clean, and both staff and clientele are friendly and accommodating. My husband and I recently visited the 24 Hour Fitness in Salem, OR and were disappointed to find they didnt have towels available for use (no laundry) - so thats a big plus for this location. Saunas and steam rooms are usually well maintained. My only complaint is - you receive a free personal training session with your sign-up/membership, and of course, they try the big sell on you for future training sessions. The trainer I was set up with was a terrible salesperson - just jumped right into, "Well, here are our packages".....showing me the computer screen with my options. The prices were insane - over $500 per month for their smaller package, and almost $800 per month for the larger package. I asked if they had anything more reasonable and they tried to sell me a few sessions for over $350 (higher price per session). I asked if I could just purchase one or two sessions at a time - nope, of course not! Hence the three star review. I know they need to make their money, but those prices are outrageous.

Ive been a member for 10 years (before they became a super.,.in old location) and Im surprised at some of the remarks. Ive found the facility to be clean and kudos to the current maintenance man. Ive reported a couple items and found them fixed upon my return visit in 2 days. Also send kudos to daytime cleaning gal. She is diligent in keeping ladies locker room clean. Have to remark...its the members that are often the slobs. Leaving towels, underwear (really ladies?!) and their junk all over. Its men I see most guilty of adding oils and cups of water to the equipment in the saunas when it clearly states DO NOT add elements ...it damages the equipment. I often see members coming out of saunas and going directly into swimming pool. Sometimes Ive tried to very tactfully ask them to please rinse off. Id rather no swim in their dirty bath water. The facility may be working on the hot tub and have it shut off and big yellow tape around steps -- DO NOT USE and still, there are people that go sit in that water. Therefore, my conclusion is, more issues are on members than the facility itself. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful to me.

I joined this gym back in February of 2009 in order to use the pool and take water aerobics classes (Aqua). In the beginning it was great, they had Aqua classes 6 mornings a week (Monday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and 4 nights a week (Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday). Great instructors, great classes, lots of people really enjoyed them. Since then they have cut all weekend classes, Thursday morning class, and recently cut Tuesday night class. They are also stating now they are cutting Monday and Wednesday night class leaving only ONE night class a week. For those of us who work during the day this is unacceptable. The manager and the activities manager are unsympathetic. In addition, they are not cleaning the lockerrooms hardly at all anymore - junk left in the showers, huge piles of hair on the shower floors, floors unclean and wet. I am extremely disappointed and am currently looking to join a different gym and many other people are too. If you are looking to join a gym hoping to take water aerobics classes, you should know that water aerobics is the lowest priority for this gym and its staff.
