The pool is here is extremely frustrating, they allow the swimm team and the swim classes dominate the pool, forcing any lap swimers into 1 lane. During peak hours between 1530-1930, forget swimminging laps. In the meantime the aquatics director is frantically trying to manage the one lap lane because there is no room. Heaven forbid if you bring your family to swim in the evenings or you want to do a swim workout. It is a very bad experiance. If you want to swimm take you business somewhere else. In fact lap swimmers are starting to leave the Y because of this problem. I have been a member for over 20 years and I am considering leaving and going to another local pool because of this problem. If you do not believe me try swimming during the week after work.

This gym Is a lot bigger than most they have workout machines upstairs and downstairs they also have weight machines downstairs. They have a mini gym for the little ones and a normal size one for the rest of you. They have a teen center for older kids but most the time they will let younger ones in to. They have a very nice pool with a lazy river and a water slide, they also have some water toys. The other thing is they have a lap pool, and a hottub. They have a small playground for kids, also if you want to workout but dont want to watch over your kids 7 and under then there is a child watch place there to.

My children really enjoy the youth programs. My younger child can be high energy and it is not a problem at the ymca, there is always something to do whether it be activities, swimming, or shooting hoops. The ymca is practically a part of our family. Dee Tuttle really encouraged me to try new classes when I first joined which is great because now I like the variety, the atmosphere at this y is always so friendly.

Because I had what was for me one of the most amazing experiences with my friend Jenn P. at the Y by helping her to overcome Some of her personal haunted house fears of being cared for and cherished and loved by a man by allowing me to do something for her that yes she could have and would have done for herself because it made me happy to show her WHAT is possible WHEN a woman lets go for a little while

This is the best gym deal in town. Where else can you get access to: pool, hot tub, sauna, racquetball courts, basketball courts, weight room, aerobic room, indoor track and free classes (martial arts, spinning, aerobics, etc) not to mention day care for the little one and all for under $100/mo? You cant.

I love the Bremerton Family YMCA. The facility is clean, the equipment is well-kept, and the staff are the most congenial. These are genuinely good people who care about their individual members and truly mean it when they ask how you are doing when you walk in. I highly recommend joining this facility!

I enjoy the warm welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly & caring. I am a snowbird who really misses her friends, classes & instructors when out of town. The Bremerton Y is a great place for an 80 year old widow to socialize while keeping fit.

Since joining by BP has gone from 150/95 to 107/73 simply by going Gods route, diet and exercise and prayer to get me out of bed in the morning and to the Y. Lovely people, great experience to enjoy daily.

Staff is good, but Ive had some problems with payments in the past. Their response time is reasonable, but they have forgotten to return calls/emails when promised.
