I had to go in and cancel my membership today and they were so rude about it! I have been a member of Planet Fitness since it was Evolution Fitness since it was West Coast Fitness! So, I have credibility in my expectations of the gym staff. I was super nice and I even felt bad for having to cancel my membership after so long, but the guy was still just so rude about me having the cancel my membership! Even then, he did not explain anything to me, ask me if I had any questions, and just expected me to sign the pen pad. I obviously asked all the questions that I had, and he had the audacity to reluctantly answer with an attitude. I am in shock! I usually just write good reviews, but I had to get this one out there, too. I am so taken aback by his crude behavior. Eversense Planet Fitness stepped in, the experience just has not been the same. I dont see myself wanting to go anymore and now I wont! :-)

They dont even deserve any stars!!!! This company bought out Fitness Evolution in our town and on the day it was announced we went into the gym to cancel our memberships. The girl we spoke to confirmed that our memberships were indeed cancelled. I ask her, "we wont get charged?" and she said "no". Well 2 weeks later were looking at our bank account and there is a charge from Planet Fitness for $40!!!!! We called them to have them return the charge because we NEVER signed any contracts with them and they said oh, you need to come into the gym and do it in person. WE ALREADY HAD DONE THAT!!!! I would not recommend this gym to my worst enemy!!! They are a shady, dirty doing business. RUN FROM THEM... DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THEM, YOU WILL BE PAYING & FIGHTING WITH THEM.

(I DONT work here) A lot of people arent paying attention to the contracts theyre signing, so thats their fault. Ive canceled my membership before in the past and it was pretty straightforward. As for the gym itself, Im disappointed in the lack of actual weight equipment, machines are good, but not the same :( the hours are also pretty bad (on the weekends) itd be AWESOME if it changed to 24hrs (I work weird hours) but oh well. The people are nice enough and honestly thats the only reason I can give it 2 stars :/

I was a Fitness Evolution member didnt really care about the change in owners or name.....until I went in and noticed the gym had gone from a well rounded gym to a curve with a few weights. There is no squat rack! no Barbell benches all variations! not to mention if you are ok with just hitting DB for your chest you going to have to settle for a 75lbs cap... I am very disappointed in this downgrade they did to the gym. I have canceled my membership and will do my best to dissuade any who ask about planet fitness.

They are still in the process of changing out fitness equipment and renovating rooms for use. But in the meantime, everyone there has been very friendly and helpful. There is a ton of equipment in a huge open space, Ive never had any problems with not finding a cardio station open or finding something for resistance training. My favorite part is the 360 machine they have. Its fabulous and really works the whole body. Just ask for Brandy and have her show you how its done. Shes small but feisty and knowledgeable.

(Based off of only going once so far) Its very clean, the environment seems pretty relaxed and the front desk people are nice. When I went, it definitely wasnt crowded by any means. My sister is more of a gym rat than I am and she misses the gym that was here before Planet Fitness took over (apparently not having a squat rack is a big deal?), but personally I dont have any problems with it. They have plenty of machines to use. Ill probably get my own membership soon.

Very nice staff, good number of machines available as well as a small open area for core exercises or other floor work. Locker rooms are nice. No hydrobeds or tanning beds yet as they just took over another gyms facility. Hopefully soon. Only downside for me is no group classes like Zumba. I really enjoy those and would go more often if they had them.

Overall I love Planet Fitness! Its always clean and the employees there are super friendly. Its never crowded to the point that you cant use the equipment that you want to use. The only thing I dont like about planet fitness is the fact that they dont have free barbels, so you cant do dead lifts, power cleans, etc. Still well worth the $10 a month!

Staff is always friendly and the trainers are excellent at motivating you to finish but not push you past your breaking point. The facility is always in good shape and clean. Once the remodel is done think Ill bump up my membership to get the full experience.

The gym lacks basic weight equipment, trainers or any semblance of healthy lifestyle. If youre only into cardio and dont want to use an actual gym facility, get a membership here. Super shady sign up and cancellation policies.

Its planet fitness. If youre morbidly over weight, terrified of the sight of fit people/normal gym goers, and want an atmosphere that encourages your awful health habits, then this is the gym for you.

The staff is lacking in knowledge. When it stated no video, they watch it happen, then blow you off when you complain. Other fellow gym goers, try to bully others out of a machine
