This review is for Joyce Speight, a realtor who works in Re/Max Choice Executive office. Agreeing Joyce to be our buyer agent was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my whole life. She is the most unprofessional, inexperienced, arrogant, and unethical realtor I have ever worked with. We were introduced to Joyce by another agent, whom we initially would like to hire as our buyer agent. Due to some limitations, Joyce wrote the offer for us. And our nightmare began. The following things I listed are all true experiences. 1. Joyce doesnt put our best interest as her priority, claimed she only gets paid by sellers, and she doesnt work for us. Even though we provided a very good offer to the sellers, Joyce tried to hoax us to pay for the unknown King county capacity charge in the first offer. We were lucky that we found it and asked her to change the offer. She asked " What if the sellers do not accept it? What will you guys want to do? Not to buy it? ..." We were astonished when she presumably thought we had no choice but to buy this house through her. 2. Joyce doesnt treat customers with courtesy. She has always been giving us brush-offs whenever we have questions. Her attitude was basically either "you-guys-know-nothing-why-dont-you-shut-up" or "who-told-you-that". We are new to Washington State and we indeed do not possess much real estate knowledge. She sensed we were eager to purchase this house and wanted to close as soon as possible. She used this to threaten us at least a couple of times. She suggested us to order inspection (her guys of course) and then told us not to ask sellers to fix anything. 3. Joyce lacks realtor experience. She intentionally scheduled appraisal before the new carpet was installed. Our loan agent complained several times how unprofessional she was during the closing time. 4. She was not willing to do anything extra for us. She did not even bother to show up in the closing. 5. Her attitude was always negative throughout the whole closing time. She doesnt have a can-do attitude and kept telling us nothing can be done to make the closing a smooth transaction. From her emails, we have never felt she cared for us. She wrote: "obviously our personalities just clash. Had we had the opportunity to get to know each other prior to this transaction, I may not have taken you on as a client, or vice versa. " This happened just a few days before closing. We had no choice but to tolerant her rudeness and moved on. Overall, working with her was a horrible experience. I seriously doubt whether she does have a very good reputation as she claims in this area. We were extremely disappointed. We stuck with her after the contract was signed. Update on 5/24: Laura , the owner of the office, called me and questioned why I threatened them. She concluded " You are lying about the closing delay. " Even though I have a different interpretation about the "delay the closing process" , I am willing to remove this comment about the "delay" to avoid any misunderstanding. And I have zero intentions to threaten anyone. Laura also asked why I did not report the issues earlier. On 5/20 I did go to the re/Max office and complain. Laura was too busy to talk to me. After I ended the conversation, Laura immediately left a message saying this review is "a slander to her company" and she will contact yelp to get get it removed.

We had the misfortune of working with Trisha Adams. She was the buyers agent in a transaction for the sale of my home. Trisha was non responsive and unhelpful most of the time. She even stated to my realtor that the only reason she was involved in the transaction was because a lender sent her the referral to get her to send clients their way. She expected to just write it up, let my realtor do all the work and walk away with a sizable commission as the homes value was 600,000. She didnt even know on the closing date that we couldnt close because her clients loan wasnt approved. We ended up filing 3 extensions. She was never personally invested in this transaction and seemed disinterested in the stress and hardship her lack of involvement was causing. I believe she is more interested in getting listings than she is in actually helping clients close deals. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER!

Great company to work for! Once you have been everywhere else you will come to love a business structure thats already built for you at Remax. All you have to do is plug in. Took me less than a week to get a website built linked to social media.
