Its all about asking and explaining how you want a cut, and then totally getting something completely different. This last experience makes me wish I went to Great Clips or something . I was even nice enough to give a ten dollar tip, and feel totally dumb for doing so. My beard goes past my chest, and I have been growing it for a year in a half now. I explained to the lady, I think her name is Maria with tattoo on her shoulder that I just wanted the top of my beard trimmed basically by my cheeks. I sayed nicely, and politely not to touch anything down low. So what she ended up doing was making a point down to the bottom of my beard totally jacking up what Ive taken a year in a half to grow. My first experience was wonderful because the lady listened to the words coming out of my mouth, and didnt look at my beard as "oh cool something I get to sculpture like a bush." That would be fine if thats what I asked for but I didnt ask for that. Her skills on trimming up a beard were a complete fail and left me very frustrated because I basically paid to have my beard and its natural length destroyed. Not by my choice but by one that cuts hair at Weldons in Issaquah.

Today I took myself into Weldons because I do like a good quality "experience" but more so pay for a good a haircut. My first time going to Weldons I had a good time. Went in for just a standard haircut just like any other joe shmo would. Thats why there are two stars on this review.....I called in to make an appointment and ask for someone that can do a GOOD fade. Leaving names out of this I went in and she seem very confident about doing a fade. All I have to say is....If you cant make it, DONT fake it! She was very proud of her work but i didnt want her to feel disappointed. Her lines where not straight and there were multiple levels in the fade. If you know what a good fade is then you know what i am talking about. I wanted a medium fade with some length still left at the top. I pretty much got a disconnected undercut and all of my hair on the side was gone..... If someone claims the fame of being the only one in the shop that can perform a fade....Ive learned, get out of that chair an run!

I used to buzz my own hair because it was cheap and easy. My wife told me she wanted me to grow my hair out, and it had been so long that I figured I would give it a shot. I grew it out for a few months and got it cut a few different places including the Issaquah and Redmond Weldon. I felt that I was getting a better cut at Weldon for just a little bit more money so I stuck with them while I grew it out. I still felt just "meh" about my longer hair and was thinking about buzzing it again soon to save money. I went back into Weldon one day and made a random appointment with Maria. I gave her an idea of what I was doing and she went to work. The whole time she was cutting I was thinking"wow, she is really focused and putting a lot more effort into this than the others I have had" and it showed! My wife was VERY happy with the end result and told me that I cant get my hair cut by anyone other than Maria. So from now on Ill be scheduling my cuts with her.

My fiance came here for a wedding haircut on the recommendation of several others who loved it. He had his hair cut by Chelsea (not sure of the spelling). His haircut is terrible - absolutely not what he asked for (he brought several pictures of himself with the haircut he wanted). It is different lengths all over, short on top, long on the sides, and poorly done. One of our big "things" in our relationship was that we both have curly hair. Now, his hair is so short on top that he has no curls. Absolutely do NOT come here. Over priced and terrible quality work.

About every 4 weeks, I get to spend some time in the excellent Weldon Barbershop environment. I really look forward to it. I can unplug and unwind and my professional Stylist knows exactly what I want. Its a great experience every single visit. Temple does an outstanding job with my hair. Weldon is always consistent and always terrific.

I went in about a month ago and asked for the less expensive of the two treatments they offered me. When I got my haircut, they just gave me the signature cut and charged me the full price without telling me thats what I had received. It was a good haircut and all but they should have told me when it changed from classic to signature.

Im surprised by all these mediocre reviews. Ive had a few barbers cut my hair over the past 18mo since Ive been going there, and havent had a bad experience yet. I rely on Dori as my go-to every 3 weeks. A bit pricey, but consistent. Im willing to spend a bit more to take one less worry out of my life.

Overall a nice experience. Comfortable waiting room with coffee and water available. There are sinks in every stall, so no need to get up and move to have your hair washed. Cut looked good and service was great. Booking appointments online is very easy. Only downside is the high prices.

they provide the best service and have awesome management. brooke is a great person and the rest of the staff is pretty damn cool too.... i will deff. return to them again. as a matter of fact im already booked up to see them again. Keep up the outstanding and great job

Victim of their own success. I would prefer to not have to schedule an appt a few days in advance, but usually need to in order to get in during the evenings. When I do get in, it seems there only a couple stylists working with plenty more capacity (open chairs).

Terrible haircut. Terrible. The name of the barber I had is Temple--supposedly a "master barber" so I had to pay an extra $5. Nice enough lady but terrible barber. I would recommend supercuts at Klahanie instead. Way better barbers and way cheaper too.

I come here when I am in town, and have had probably half a dozen or so different stylists. I keep coming back because the haircuts are consistent, and the employees are friendly.

its about $35 (n ot including tip) for a basic haircut and a nice neck/scalp massage. the stylists are well trained. recommended.

Consistent quality, a little pricy. While walk ins are welcome appointments are best or it could be a long wait.
