I went here after reading the reviews on line and I am now so upset that I did . I took my young daughter with me for some mommy daughter cut and color and while the owner did a good job on my cut an color the lady that did my daughters cut it so bad that the owner had to fix it taking of 3 or more inches that i wanted . I am so heart broken because her beautiful hair is so short. The color she attempted to do didnt show up at all and my daughter really wanted the low lights so she is very upset . The lady never apologized and just got a nasty attitude and walked out of the room. Then i was told to calm down and that i wasnt being charged for it that thats all that could be done . During the whole hair process they kept leaving to answer the phone or talk to the people coming in the door . It was unprofessional and i was treated very disrespectfully and my daughters hair will take months to grow out so it can be cut and fixed .

Got a haircut and balayage highlights from Jose. My hair cut was nothing special and my balayage highlights didnt show up at all! I had balayage highlights at Gene Juarez 6 months prior and they did a wonderful job. Jose pretty much died my hair black which is my natural color. He had to tone down my hair after the balayage which was why my hair was black again. I called them and they tried to "fix" it but all he ended up doing is a foil. Let me remind you that a balayage costs more than a foil and are strategically placed highlights. I pretty much wasted my time and got a foil when I paid for a balayage. I will be staying with Gene Juarez for my hair care. I like that fact the at Gene Juarez your colorist only deals with hair dye and are specialists at what they do, as they have additional training outside of just hair cutting.

I have very temperamental hair! Lets see...its fine, but I have a lot of it. My hair line is not great so I have to cover it up. My hair grows unevenly. If its too short, I dont have enough to work with, it its too long, it just hangs. Whenever I have Jose cut my hair, it goes like this, "This needs to be shorter, this needs to be longer, this needs to be thinned out, dont touch this part, etc". I dont know how he does it, but when he is finished, it is all done and well blended. I always get a lot of compliments on my hair. Jose is great about getting me in, in a timely manner, and takes care of my "in between haircut" issues. Thanks Jose for putting up with this high maintenance client!

Highly recommend it. Must see Jose- he is the best! It was my very first time yesterday 4/14 to have a haircut and color from Jose Manuel Salon. Jose made sure he doesnt cut my hair short. He is very knowledgeable in regards of what types of hair, and hair lines. He gave me some nice tips to promote shine and health of my hair. He did my highlights and I LOVED It!! Jose takes time to work on my hair, which very different with other salon..that I went to in the past. I love my haircut and color that I made my next appointment already! See you soon Jose! Overall great experience! Ive had my hair done twice by Angi. The first time she did such an amazing job, it turned out better than what I wanted. The second time, I had red put in it with the blonde and the red bled into the blonde and turned parts of my hair pink. Angi and Jose got me in asap to fix the parts of my hair that turned pink and after that I was satisfied with it. They are both just so friendly and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I will definitely keep coming back!

My co -workers are horrified for me and I am afraid to go back there to have the problem addressed. After reading the great reviews here I felt confident going to this salon. While they were nice the young woman coloring my hair had to be assisted every step of the way. I have never waited so long to have color rinsed out of my hair -almost an hour. Now searching for someone to restore my hair to a normal color (or close)!! Beware.

Talk about a real treat! I was in town for a conference and needed a hair cut, Jose was able to get me in at the end of the day 6:15 pm, I had my eye brows waxed before hand too. Relaxing enviroment, I felt pampered and I will recommmend the salon to anyone in the area. When I am in the area again, I will make sure I will come back again!!! Great people and soothing decor...

This is the first salon Ive tried since moving to WA, and thankfully, I wont need to find anywhere else! Great atmosphere, stimulating conversation, and a stunning new look! Jose was nice enough to work me in at the end of a long day, and still took the time to get to know me and my hair to make sure I got the best possible result! Definitely a 5-star experience.

The whole atmosphere was just warm and inviting. The care and attention to detail was amazing. They took an okay hair cut from a previous salon and turned it into a fabulous look that will work for day or night and is easy peasy to take care of.
