I had a mastectomy and I had planned ahead to get anew hair style. I still cry when I think this was to make me fill better because of what I had to loose. The first visit my hair was such a blue mess. I cried all the way home. I could not turn around. They were closed. Second visit they took out most of the blue, which was better and they cut my hair enough to take out some of the blue, but it was not the cut I wanted. My hair is now a mess and it will take some time to get my hair cut the way I want it. The thing I tried to do to make me feel better is a nightmare I continue to live with. The second visit I had to run to Seattle to Cancer Care Alliance for an appointment, so I had no time to discuss the hair. They just wanted to fix it enough to stop me from crying. I did feel better but it was not the feel good after mastectomy. I am a substitute teacher and have to begin school with this mess. Gave them the money I had for summer hair changes. My daughter likes them but always has to go back for hair color fix.

Having moved to Tacoma a few years ago, I have been on a quest to find the perfect salon. My requirements include having talented stylists, being able to get both hair and waxing done at one place, and not having a 6 week lead time for appointments. Foxfire met all three. I went first for an eyebrow wax to see what the place was like. Kathleen did my wax, and she was amazing. Im going back next for my bikini wax. Today I went for a haircut. Im a somewhat difficult customer, given that I never know exactly what I want. Christina cut my hair and did an AMAZING job. She came up with a fresh-looking cut that met all my needs. I also appreciated that she was friendly but didnt try to force a conversation or sell me on a bunch of products like some stylists do. My hair looks and feels great. Even my boyfriend cant keep from touching and looking at it. I definitely recommend Foxfire Salon.

My daughter and I got our hair cut here. I made an appointment online but the choices given are not very helpful, better to call to make appt. The person I made the appt with for my daughter was sweet and very honest about not being able to give her the haircut she wanted so got someone to do it. The problem was since he was more experienced he charged $65 to do a cut! He didnt even try to make it nice, she had part of her head shaved and it wasnt even, I could have done a better job on that part. I feel like he didnt care about getting it right because she is a kid and I didnt sit and watch. I decided to have the girl who didnt cut her hair do mine and she was wonderful and even better was half the price. I would go back to her but not the old guy. Im still kinda pissed he didnt really try.

I love this salon! The customer service is amazing. The receptionists are prompt, friendly, and helpful. Brooke does an amazing job at cuts and hair color. I am naturally blonde and got highlights and balayage for almost two years with Brooke and it always has looked great! I get compliments on my hair all the time and I know its because Brooke does such a great job! I recently underwent a huge transformation and dyed my hair red. Again, Brooke did a great job and manages to make anything I want look great on me. My favorite thing about Brooke as a stylists is that she listens. When you say you want a tiny trim, she doese a tiny trim and doesnt lop off a huge amount of hair. She also listens when you have input or ideas about color. She is the best! I highly reccomend this salon.

I dont normally write reviews, but this place was so awesome! I got my haircut by Christina. She was quiet but she was a genius with my hair!!! My male best friend looked at me and said "Whatd you do different with your hair? It looks amazing!" I havent been able to wear bangs down for over a year, and now I can and it looks great!!! Im so in love with my haircut, Ill definitely go back for her. Plus she put this product in my hair that made it smoother than silk, and its nice that its an Aveda salon so I could buy it. Also, great prices!

Dangerously fabulous! Would recommend the Aveda experince to anyone. The atmosphere is heavenly (sweet smells and smiling faces) and the staff is top-notch. Try their complimentary tea! Have had everything from haircuts to pedicures to deep-tissue massage here and cannot recommend them enough. Easy to make appointments online through their website.

I went here to get my hair styled for a military ball. Suzanne did a WONDERFUL job with what I wanted. I brought in pics and she did it exact, AND it looked better than I thought it would. And she secured the hair solid and it lasted comfortably the whole night! I will definitely go to Suzanne again if I ever need another updo.

Went here after getting a foil that I just didnt like. Miranda was my hair person (artist? beautician?) and she did a fabulous job on both a foil that I loved and a haircut that EVERYONE raved about. It was timely, cost effective, and just great service. If you are looking for someplace to come to...again and again, come here!

I went in for a simple hair trim and it was the best hair cut Ive ever had! The woman that did my hair was new but amazing! With just a simple wash and cut I left feeling like a whole new person! I was her hair model and Id definitely not only go back, but recommend her to my friends!!

I would recommend this salon. They do a great job with foils. The shampoo/conditioner/products leave my hair healthy and refreshed. However, the prices are a little expensive, but to justify the price - you get what you pay for. They offer a very good service to all hair customers.
