I had a wonderful experience with Abel McNair. He is professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and creative. After a long-term illness, I had become grayer than I wanted to be. Every time I looked into the mirror I saw my 80 year old mother. I certainly was not ready for that. A friend referred me to Abel McNair. During my first appointment, he took time to talk with me to get a good understanding of what he was working with and what I wanted. He showed me an array of colors and steered me away from colors he didn’t think would complement my complexion. I received color, cut, blow dry and straightening. I was absolutely thrilled with the results. When I left his chair, I looked and felt like a different person. Abel McNair is an excellent replacement for the stylist I lost.

Stephanie Schick give me a completely different color in my hair than what I asked for (asked for charcoal black and got lavender, a color not even close to the shade either?) and when I asked for my money back the manager told me she can have Stephanie fix it for free but I cant get my money back. Honestly wouldnt even give them 1 star but I wanted to share.

Abel at Beauty First did an excellent job on my hair, he flat ironed it better then anyone I know! Took his time but was sufficient in speed and used products that best fit my hair type. I would highly reccomend that you go and check him out! Hes at the shop every Saturday starting at 9:00 AM! Thank you Abel!

They never have the products I need and always have a different excuse as to why. After dealing with this same problem for over a year and no longer receiving rewards as I should, its time to find a new place or shop online. Staff seem nice enough but does zero when they never have the products!

So fortunate that Abel stopped to introduce himself that day at the VA. HE IS THE consummate stylist, listens to what you want, attentive to detail, and gives the best scalp massages. He keeps my cut and color tight! My go to stylist. I highly recommend Abel at Beauty First.
