Enlightened Spirit

A WONDERFUL experience! I had planned a spa day with two lady friends. Normally I would never purchase a spa package as they can be price prohibitive, but after a tough last six months, I was truly ready for a spa experience and felt it was worth the splurge for a facial, massage and pedicure. We were greeted professionally and a short wait later, we were whisked off to our prospective areas... I went first for my "spaaaawesome" facial which left my face soft and glowing, then to my full body massage,which after a quick consultation with my masseuse left me relaxed (AND pain free of the arthritis in my neck and back)...never had an hour pass so quickly. From there, I had a pedicure which was a truly enjoyable and fun hour of pampering...and the owner even popped in during my hot salt-water foot soak (ahhhhhh) to check and see how my day was going and refilled my ice cold water glass. The rooms for each stage of our spa day were clean, decorated with a soothing color palate, softly lit and relaxing music flowed softly from all corners. (For me, its just not a spa without those elements!) When we completed our treatments, my friends and I met up in the private green room to compare notes and all three of us had no complaints at all. In fact, we made plans right then and there to start saving for our next spa day adventure! Even better was the final bill which was less than I anticipated it would be as we qualified for group rate, a 10% reduction in our bills...a great help since I had saved money for quite some time to splurge on this extravagant day. I even had money left over for a lovely lunch with my girlfriends. I have been to other spas for a facial before but I had never had massage or pedicure before my trip to Utopia...likewise, my friends both had pedicures before but had never had facials or massages until we did this day together so it made several "firsts" for all of us. A fun and relaxing way to try new things. I completely recommend Utopia Day Spa to anyone and can not wait to visit again! Go and enjoy a day of complete relaxation - you wont be sorry!

My husband got me a whole spa treatment package for Valentines day, and I got to go the next day. Five stars for him, right?! Also five stars for the Utopia team! They were FABULOUS beyond words! I have never, ever been to a spa and the only service they offer I had ever had was a manicure. They made me feel so pampered and fancy. I started my experience with a relaxing facial by Mo. She told me I could fall asleep if I wanted... and I almost did! My face looks fabulous today! My next adventure was a 90 minute massage by Katrina. Oh. My. Gosh! She massaged muscles I must have forgotten existed and made my body feel great. Then I had a mani-pedi courtesy of Mani who was a rock star! My fingers and toes look way too cute! She does awesome nail art - I choose a color and left the design of my nails up to her and she turned them into little works of art! Lastly I got my hair straightened and styled by Meghan who was an absolute sweetheart we had a great time chatting about our kids and she made my hair look FAB! She also recommended some great products for my crazy hair! All these ladies were so down-to-earth and kind and professional - it really made me feel comfortable and cared for. The decor and atmosphere is great here - very earthy and calming. Everything was super clean which is obviously important when it comes to entrusting a business with your personal care. I was super impressed. I would gladly revisit Utopia and any of these professionals for their respective service!

Wonderful salon! I come to see Nicki here, but everyone is amazing and incredibly nice! They have a fantastic selection of products and their pricing is very reasonable. I live in Vancouver and I came to them after going a couple times to a salon down in Portland that was SUPER expensive and fried my hair (Im bleaching because I like changing up my colors), but my hair is fine and blonde to begin with and doesnt need to be super bleached to achieve very light results. Nicki has done an incredible job at lightening my hair while not over doing it! So happy I found this place and have been a happy customer my last 4 hair appointments and plan to continue returning! I definitely recommend them and just did the other day to someone else in fact!

My time here was alright. I have gone in twice, sadly coming out both times with hair I did not love. Both times I meant to call back and understand what could be done to fix my hair, but each time unexpectedly fell near when I was having health issues (I have MS). I paid $100+ for dye jobs that did NOTHING with my hair. I came out practically with the same hair, the same ugly color I hate, being talked out of anything I wanted (not that I wanted anything crazy). I truly wish I had been able to call in right after, considering the hairstylist told me to if I were unhappy. But, my health kept me from doing much of anything.

I am a busy mom and I dont get a lot of "me" time and that made my experience even more special at Utopia. I went in for a massage and from the moment I walked in their friendly staff took great care of me. I have had many massages in the past, but they cant compare to how Vivianna made me feel. She was able to take care of all my trouble spots and a week later I still feel great! I loved the decor! They defiantly know how to make a beautiful and relaxing atmostsphere. The place I used to go would "Envy" my experience at Utopia. I look forward to going back for more massages and trying out all of their other services!

Worst customer service ever. Went to buy my wife a gift card and took forever to get help. Then I seemed to inconvenience them when "just needing this". Then when my wife went there she was hearing the staff talk HIGHLY inappropriately. Talking about personal relationship matters which would make anyone cringe. Unless you like hearing about crude sexual acts and being a bother to them go there. But their prices as crappy too. Honestly I would give them 1/2 star if it would allow it.

I came here cause of a bad experience at another salon. My hair was literally falling out. The lady who cut my hair is named Megan. Shes amazing. She gave me multiple treatments extremely discounted cause she felt so bad for me with what happened at the other salon. Sadly my hair is a pixie cut but she did a good job. Ill be going to her every 3 months getting the rest of the damage off

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I came to get my hair bleached! They totally ruined my hair!! 4.5 hours spent trying to fix it! and ruined even more ! Half a day of my time wasted and hideous hair! A new girl did my hair, who turned out has only 6 months of experience. Lisa her boss is the worse! Instead of appoligizing she was acting ridiculously assertive !! The worse experience ever!!

My first visit was a few months ago - Karli had a last minute cancellation for a cut and color and was able to get me in the same day...I am so glad I went here! Karli is fantastic - I have sent her 3 other people and they all love her too! My new go-to salon...I wont go anywhere else now and this after I had been going to the same stylist for 8 years. Thank you Karli and Utopia!
