This is my new "GO TO" Salon! Last Saturday I tried 4 different places to get a much needed haircut - two were closed (on a Saturday mind you), and two had a long waiting time (more than 90 minutes). I was about to give up but then I remembered there used to be a beauty school in the Wichita Shopping Center in Milwaukie on King Road and since it was on the way home I checked it out - the salon is around the corner on Linwood. And there was King Stylist Salon! I got right in - I got the haircut I needed at a very affordable price ($15 for womens haircut). This is just a few blocks from my home - I could walk there with no problem. The stylist/owner is a very nice person and really took the time needed to make sure I got a great haircut - which I did! I recommend King Stylist Salon to anyone (man, woman, child) whos tired of Supercuts or Perfect Lookd long waiting times or overpriced Salons. Im so happy with my new find!

Id gone in back in April when they first opened, and it was an ok experience so I decided to give it another try. I scheduled an appointment for yesterday and went in about five minutes early. The stylist, also owner, proceeded to cut my hair and five minutes into my cut a walk-in client came in wanting her hair cut. The stylist told her it would be about 15 minutes, and proceeded to cut my hair quickly and shakly. When she finished I realized she had cut my long hair pretty short, when Id only asked for a trim. I mentioned that and both stylist and walk-in client proceeded to tell me that she had barely cut any off. I was very upset. And do not plan on going back.

This is my go-to salon. The owner/stylist always takes her time to get it right and the prices are reasonable. I generally can get in with in a very short time and even scheduling for perms is easy.
