Lieu at Urban Salon is truly the VERY BEST hair gal doing cut and color I have EVER gone to and I am VERY PICKY about my hair. Seriously, I dont let anyone else touch my hair. I have long thick naturally curly hair and have never found anyone who knows how to handle it till I met Lieu. I have been going to her for 7 years now and actually followed her from her prior salon quite a few years ago. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Of course I tell em go to Lieu Paine at Urban Salon!!! I just cannot say enough about HOW AMAZING she is and she is also one of the nicest, sweetest human beings I know too!! Go to her and you will NEVER EVER go to anyone else!! (Plus the rest of the folks at Urban Salon are super friendly as well!!)

I decided to make an appointment at this salon since my regular hair stylist from another salon didnt return my phone call... I saw all the Yelp reviews and made an appointment with Mandy. The salon was beautiful and fun! I was so impressed with the job that Mandy did on my hair and the time she spent perfecting it. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and it was obvious that she really enjoyed her profession. She actually listened to me and followed through, which I have found to be challenging for other stylists that I had gone to in the past. I will definitely be going back and will definitely be referring friends and family to her and this salon.

While I enjoyed the gal that cut my hair, she was hesitant when to told her what I wanted (short a line bob with intense pink ends). I had expressed that I would prefer to go blonder rather than darker on top, but she ended up applying a mousey brown. I was happy with the look when I left, choosing to overlook the brown instead of making a fuss. The pink was great, and she styled it just how I wanted. But here it is, less than a month later and the pink has almost completely faded. I only wash my hair twice per week, certainly not enough to explain the color loss. For as much as I paid, Im feeling awfully taken advantage of. Will not return.

Marica is the best stylist I have ever had. I have extremely thick/finicky hair that is very difficult to get right (thick hair persons u know what im talkin bout)! I also am very picky. She has never done a bad cut and on top of her great cuts she is a super friendly down to earth and warm person who always makes me feel comfortable. I leave this salon feeling refreshed and relaxed from the bright atmosphere to the outgoing and down to earth stylists. This is only my second ever google review post so I dont post for nothing, but this salon deserves it. If you are picky about your hair and want it "just right" Marica is who your looking for.

I used to really like this salon until I was trying to get in with my stylist, Taylor and couldnt.. I was able to get in touch with her through social media, she is now over at Hair Envy just down the street! Im sure I wasnt the only one wondering where she went, since they wont tell you anything when you ask, I figured Id let you know if youve been wondering where your stylist went! :)

Katie McKinley is the best! I was referred to Katie after going to a salon in Lake Oswego that seriously overcharged and underdelivered! Katie listened to what I had to say and did an awesome job on my hair. I would have gladly paid twice what she charged but appreciated a professional who was not looking to simply make a quick buck. She values her customers and it shows!!

Needed to get a hair cut for a family gig, I thought it would be awkward to stop in a "girly hair salon" just for a normal male trim, but they were totally chill in there and real nice, and I could really tell the difference between a quality hair cut and a $15 trim. Keri did a really great job.

I have wanted my hair cut a certain way for so long, no one EVER could seem to understand, but I found GABY at Urban Colorz salon and I am so happy, I cried when I got home, I was so happy. She is the best and her credentials for her education are top notch. Thanks Gaby so much.!!!!!

I love coming here! Dinah does an amazing job with my crazy hair. Always gives good advise and I have never left regretting a cut! She has the ability to cut my super fine naturally curly hair so that it looks good curly or straight! That is hard to do.
