WORST experience ever. Im a Canadian and had an American wedding on the Island. 1. The owner cancelled on completing my up-do and my bridesmaids hair the day BEFORE my wedding for no reason. 2. The owner also did a very sloppy trial up-do for my hair, cutting stray ends and then took my hair all out at the end. And then made me pay for a full hair cut, as well as the trial up do. Telling me he didnt want my fiancé to see what he did, but I didnt care as I paid a lot of money for a service. He didnt listen to what I requested nor did the trial up-do look good. Oh and he talks your ear off! He is egocentric and grandiose about his accomplishments. By any means he does not live up to what he "claims" he can do in the hair industry. 3. The owners wife was a complete opposite to the owner. She presents with flat affect and stone cold personality. She did a trial make-up a week prior and used her finger tips to put dark colored foundation on my face making me look like I had zits. I havent seen what she could do with hair color or a cut, but I wouldnt trust her with your face or hair for that matter. She even used an old mascara wand to put my mascara on without using a disposable wand. How unsanitary! She is also unprofessional and had raised her voice on the phone with me when I respectfully declined from having her do my makeup. 4. They have a tolder who also distracts their time away from their work with their clients. Get day care if you are running a business. Clients dont care for the distractions your child brings. "0/5" star rating for this unprofessional business.

Best haircut hands down! Oddly enough my co-worker was supposed to have an appointment for a haircut that she was calling to cancel so I asked if I could "steal" it and im so glad I did. Not only did Talmadge gave me a fantastic haircut but he was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. I have always had long and very thick hair and usually spend an average of 2.5-3 hrs when getting my hair done and having to sit and make small talk with stylists can sometimes be awkward and downright painful but Talmadge is in the right profession. He makes you feel welcome in his salon and treats you like an A-List client. If youre looking for a great haircut and a great experience overall, call Salon Bella.

I read the Canadian Brides review with a great deal of skepticism given the glowing comments from many friends on the Island about their wonderful experiences at La Salon Bella and I am happy to report that my experience was beyond my high expectations. Courteous, caring and extremely professional service, fabulous color and the best haircut. Thank you!

Bristol, You did an AMAZING job on my hair for my wedding back in May. Everyone that saw it was amazed by how beautiful it looked and how well it stayed. It was just how I had pictured it in my head. Chelsea did a fabulous job with my color! I also really like the products they use. The dye was very gentle and didnt smell like chemicals and the rest of the products were also very nice!
