Worked out here for a while, but I always felt really creeped out because there were always old guys staring at me while I was just trying to do my thing. Ive never had this problem at any other gym and just kind of wanted to get out of there. Stopped going and put my account on hold for a bit and wanted to cancel my membership because I started going to one in Edmonds. I lost my debit card and replaced it with a new one and they called me every single day trying to get new payment information, so I answered and thought I resolved the problem. I specifically asked if I would have to go to a physical location to cancel my membership and the lady said no, no problem we can actually take care of that right now, she just needed a new card number. Fast forward a few months and they start calling me again because I had changed cards. Apparently they never cancelled my membership and called me to say that they still needed my card information, had charged me for three months of putting it on hold, and still needed $10 to cancel my membership. I asked if there was any way that they could waive the fee because they had been charging me without my knowledge after lying to me about cancelling my membership, and they said the usual "oh sorry theres nothing we can do" Dont sign up here

People who run establishment like this useless company, especially THIS LOCATION, is the reason why I will be cancelling very soon, no matter what it takes. Walk in, rude. Real customer problems? basically tell them to F off. Staff? What staff? I thought I was surrounded by pretentious frat/sorority house with a bunch of incompetent idiots running around hitting on girls, playing basketball, working out, taking selfies... Did any of you even go through any training? Or even receive an education? of any kind? Wtf? For any of you idiots who ask why customer service is important for a gym? Ill tell you why. It prevents people like me from going across the internet, writing unwanted posts like these about your crap company, to prevent more people from being force to affiliate themselves with the likes of you. The gym is average, nothing to boasts about. I rather hit up a damn 24h Fitness where they have the same amenities and wider availability, and oh guess what, at least a 3-star in customer relation. Management? Was that a joke? The managers at this establishment is a complete living insult to the word management. Lets see... Unhelpful, understating the word rude, useless, unintelligent... My goodness just close down so a better company can take over already. Bye.

Absolute worst fitness club and has shortchanged me for the last time. The cancellation process was muddled by various idiotic club staff and ended up costing me over 120 dollars in card fees and then a call to the corporate line proved unfrugal since I had the exact same problem a year earlier, leaving me deep in the hole. The people working here need to learn the obligations with the gym membership better, the gym has no wifi, and things get constantly stolen from the lockers. However, the gyms real testament to greatness is the lack of upkeep: with equipment being constantly broken, and all four water fountains on the gym floor are rarely in service at the same time, and they have a useless passcode to the bathrooms which only prevents new members who dont know it from entering. So if youre thinking of joining LA and are under the premise that "it isnt that bad" trust me... it is. Youd be better off at 24 hour fitness or the Y or even the more expensive harbor square gym because after all the fees LA cost me in the end spending a couple of months at Harbor Square would have cost me much less money. As someone who was a member for two summers, Ive gotten burned bad by this location, and the company as a whole. Do not get a membership here.

This gym in Lynnwood has the worst customer service. The manager named Kassey is very rude and doesnt know what customer service is all about. He even said that we are wasting his precious time and threatened to kick us out if we dont settle down. He thinks he is doing us a favor for talking to us when the company he is working is the one who owes me 7 mos of membership. How can you not get upset when you requested a cancellation 7 mos ago and still charge you monthly dues. They are always happy and friendly when you are doing the membership but when it comes to cancellation they dont want to talk to you and suddenly you are annoying to them. When you miss a payment, their customer representative will call you 20 times a day until they get paid. But when you do cancellation and somehow they never cancel, suddenly they dont know whats going on. But one thing for sure, they are taking your money. This guy Kassey should learn a little bit more of knowledge on how to handle little issues. Instead of acting like he owns the place and thinks he has the power to do anything instead of making customer happy. For sure I will never recommend any of my friends to do membership at this location.

Reading all these reviews about the horrible customer service is somewhat true. However, to be fair, I should point out that there is one or two great employees in the front desk. I usually go at the crack of dawn and there is a lovely lady that always smiles and has a great attitude (even that early). But thats about it, everyone else is more into their makeup, looking cool, chatting, or checking their cellphone than paying attention to their job. This I assume is due to the lack of proper training, and discipline coming from management. Machines are usually in working conditions, and they get fix within a reasonable time. Considering the amount of people that has no idea what they are doing and how they abuse the equipment. Unfortunately, this is the majority of the members. Other than that this is an okay gym. Go in, do your stuff, and get out. An honestly thats all you should care about a gym. This is not a gathering place (looking at you, young fellas) Or a spa. Granted thing can always be improved, but if you are about to smash some weights, and still have energy to complain, you didnt do your job at the gym.

Rude staff, I stood in front of a young fellow named Ricky who spent 5 minutes on the phone and completely ignored my presence, when I asked for a schedule he yelled back "Im on the phone" and had me wait for another 2 minutes before handing me copy of the schedule. This is not the first time that Ive noticed the staff ignores patrons or simply refuse to say hello or make eye contact with clients. **** 3.23/17 update*** Staff has gotten better (at least hey say hello) but is inexperienced and patrons bring their gym bags to the workout area to reserve machines while they take restroom breaks. This situation has gotten worse and no one seems to care about the 20 minute rule. The facility is relatively new but over crowded, its hard to find parking during peak hours. The best machines are always occupied; weights are all over the place, locker rooms are starting to look dirty, showers full of hair and, tissue, and used band-aid on the shower floor. I do like the fact they have free WIFI.
