I had the BEST experience with AAA yesterday! Its kind of a long story, but bear with me as it was particularly epic. About 4:45pm yesterday, my husband sent me a text saying that he and one of our friends were stranded at this really obscure "off the beaten path" hike on Mount Rainier as the truck battery had died. He asked me to call AAA since his phone wasn’t getting reliable enough reception to make a call and there was a storm coming in. I spoke to Mark, who managed to be completely sincere in his concern while still being calm and professional. He worked with me to figure out where they were exactly through a variety of online mapping venues and to find a tow truck that would be willing to actually go out that far into the middle of nowhere. Mark couldn’t guarantee that he’d be able to find someone willing to go, so while he worked on it, he encouraged me to look into other methods of rescue, including: park rangers (who wouldn’t go because it was technically not part of the park), the local county Sheriffs (who argued between the 3 counties as to who’s responsibility that particular piece of land was), other local tow trucks (who wanted to charge upwards of $1200), and the state fire marshal (who never even called me back). When I had completely reached my wits end and was preparing to go up the mountain myself, Mark called me back to confirm that he’d found a truck that would be able to go up there! We worked together to pinpoint the specific map to give to the driver and I was assured that someone would be there within a 3 hour window. He even explained that they normally have a tighter window, but due to the location… naturally the longer wait was to be expected. My husband’s phone battery died and I didn’t have contact with him for nearly 4 hours, and with not knowing what the conditions were or if they were safe I was in a bit of a panic until Mark called me back to tell me that the tow truck driver was with my husband and our friend and they were all safe. I was so relieved I started to cry on the phone. Mark was so considerate and wonderful, I will likely name my firstborn son after him… or maybe my next pet, but at the very least my next houseplant. I would also like to give a huge shout-out to Ricky at Grant’s Towing for braving the pot-hole filled roads to rescue my husband. AAA came through for me when literally no one else would. Thank you!

My sister is coming up to Seattle from Wyoming in July so I wanted to plan a trip that would showcase the best Seattle and the surrounding area had to offer! I started looking around for some ideas: The Olympic Peninsula looked inviting, or maybe a hike at Mt. Rainier, or how about the Kitsap Peninsula or Antique shopping in Snohomish? Theres also La Conner, or Sudden Valley, or perhaps the beautiful Chuckanut drive in Whatcom County? It was obvious I needed help so I called AAA and Heather answered the phone and we set up a time for me to come into their office to figure it all out. Im extremely please with the results! Thank you! Were going to have a great time! (TripTik here we come!)

Kathy at the Seattle store was very helpful and timely. My low rating came from Down Under who helped book our trip to New Zealand, north Island. They would only quote me the total price for the excursions and hotels we booked, they did not break it down for me. I was able to collect the prices on line and in person at our stops. Down Under charged us almost exactly double for the entire trip than I could have booked myself. Now that I have the experience, I will never use them again. I am all for a fair commission but 100% mark up is wrong. AAA would only refund us $400 for a kayak tour that was canceled due to weather. They had no interest in any other rebate.

I booked our second cruise this year through this office. I was pleased before, now I must say that I am elated with their consistent standard of service. Both times my agent Kathleen was very adept at helping me stay within my budget and at advising me of what made a good deal. This cruise, when I missed confirming my reservation, Kathleen reminded me. And then when I was unable to print my tickets, she went far beyond the call of duty and made that happen. Of course, I met her with chocolate in hand.

The agent at AAA in Seattle spent weeks with me planning a 25 day trip to Europe: Barcelona, London area and Norway. Her expertise and patience provided me with a flawless itinerary. I used trains, underground, buses, planes and a ship - everything was corordinated perfectly. The hotels were all clean and well-appointed, she had to accomodate five for half the trip. Not an easy task. I had a wonderful trip, thanks to her time and help.

Im updating this post from a previous review. Nancy from this office is fantastic. Super knowledgable and well prepared. I highly suggest making an appointment ahead of time, especially if you are trying to meet with someone on the weekend. The experience this time around was exactly what my wife and I expected from AAA. Looking forward to our vacation!

AAA has closed several offices in the area and is opening this new space instead. The space is being completely renovated, and will be quite large when finished (open for business but still under construction early June 2016). It is not centrally located but includes free parking.

I needed street maps for new areas outside of Seattle metropolitan: and AAA had them! No line, friendly service as usual. Theyve remodeled so it may look like it is closed from the outside, but they are still at the same hard to enter and exit location near the Magnolia Bridge.

I wanted to keep a couple maps in my car for emergencies and since I am a AAA member they gave them to me for free!! They were so friendly and helpful!

As always, we were treated with concern and respect when renting a car in Chicago on short notice. Found a coupon and saved us an extra $50.00.
