I went in concerned that something was wrong with my muffler or possibly my catalytic converter. As soon as I walked in a gentlemen had asked what was wrong with my car (possibly the owner). I tried explaining to him it smelled like rotten eggs sometimes and that it could be my transmission but wanted to make sure it wasnt something else so I came here first so he could help me cancel out the others on what was wrong. The power of my car seemed delayed like it was holding back. As Im trying to explain this to him he rolls his eyes repeatedly and demands I give my keys because apparently I wasnt explaining it correctly. Yes Im a girl, yes I know little about cars but I know what I need to know and Im here explaining to you the best I can. There was absolutely no reason for him to treat me like that. Long story short. Didnt really give me any helpful information. Im sure if I was a guy it would have been a better experience its just so sad to say. I had higher hopes on this place and based my decision on coming here from the reviews and it looks like a couple years ago it was pretty good. Well I will definitely will be telling others not to waste there time. Seriously dont waste your time. Its hard to find a good shop who isnt trying to BS you or who will genuinely take the time to ACTUALLY HELP and give you helpful information because youre a women. What a huge disappointment.

My Canadian 96 pathfinder exhaust snapped a pipe between the rear muffler and the resonator. I put it up on jack stands and got some strong tack welds on it to keep it together for a highway trip to Vancouver. Later in the summer, we did a trip that involved a fair amount of rough, off-road driving and I didnt want my tack welds to fail and leave a muffler some where along the trail. Clinton, my regular mechanic recommended Ballard Muffler so I went to see Omar. He quoted me a reasonable price to fix the problem, but I knew the truck had been assaulted by salty Calgary roads and I could see corrosion in other places. I opted to get the full system replaced from the cats back. The work was done in a timely and workmanlike fashion and Omar was able to offer me a very good price. I would not hesitate to go back for other exhaust work (on my 86 Volvo) or recommend him to friends.

Always excellent service. Several years ago needed exhaust system repaired. Omar put the car up and invited me to look under with him. That was a great beginning. As I watched him hunkered under the hood with men who looked like auto junkies, I trusted more and more work to Omar. For years now his shop has done all the maintenance on my 1990 Toyota Camry (timing belt, transmission flushes, etc.), and my car is as reliable as ever. I am so very glad I found this local business that provides, as another reviewer wrote, "beyond fair (pricing) and honest work." Thank you, Omar, for all you have done for me! Including staying late one rainy evening to replace my alternator!

This guys are the best in town ! Omar and his brother Eyad are true professional, work done in timely manner at a great price every time all time ! I wish if I could give them a 10 star review 5 for each , lol They are no longer in ballard , the new Shop is in 167th and aurora ave N , near club Hollywood. (Its better than the old shop ) The phone number is still the same , give them a call for the exact address. And if you are a good customer, the good news is they can do more than just muflers . Like I said they are pros!! Thank you Omar and Eyad for taking care of my cars all this years :-)

Omar and the other gentleman whose name I didnt get were great. I purchases a down pipe for my SVT Focus that had the O2 bung threads stripped. I brought this pipe and 2 new bungs to Omar who welded them on promptly, no appointment needed. One of the bungs was slightly off and my O2 sensor wouldnt fit (I should have been more specific when telling him where to weld it). I called them up and Omar got me in right away and welded the bung to exactly where I needed it at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Great shop and service, will bring business here again.

When the salted roads of Seattle finally rotted out the exhaust pipe on my van this winter they made a custom one and welded it in place - saving me from replacing the muffler. They could have sold me the whole thing pipe + muffler (most shops would) but they treat customers better than most shops. Ill drive the extra miles to their new location because I know theyll do their best and not rip me off. Big Fan!

Literally one of the best possible customer services experiences i have ever had at an auto repair shop. Beyond fair and completely honest work. Backed into a curb, bent my muffler pipe. Midas said it couldnt be fixed. This place fixed it in 30 minutes back to good as new. Convinced they can fix anything. I drive a luxury sports car so i was skeptic but now I am a believer

Excellent service. I had my catalytic converter stolen (I hate Renton!) and not only was I able to get same day service, but Omar quoted me a totally fair price. The quality of work was excellent (I always check) and it only took them 30 minutes. Highly recommended local shop. It would have cost me double at a dealership and taken all day!

Service was fast 45min for a new exhaust pipe,muffler and tail pipe. Price was fair even for a woman I paid the same a guy would 150$. The owner was honest and very friendly.
