Not a fan - took my car in to have a heater hose replaced - a 30 min job. During the install, they broke another part (another hose connector), and wouldnt get the part in until much later that day. I was waiting for my car - and had to take a taxi back to work since my car wouldnt be done in the original time. $30 in cab fare round trip, and another $50 part added to my bill. Before I left in the cab, I asked if they could do something about the price, since it broke during their repair, and the best the manager offered was 10% off. When I came to pick up my car, I brought a coupon from the website for $20 off $200. The manager balked at the coupon - saying that he already gave me 10% off. This was really frustrating, because I didnt think I should have to pay for the extra part / work (and I was already out $30 for cab fare) since they broke it! I asked how they knew the part was already broken, and that they didnt break it when they pulled it out. The manager argued with me and said he knew his tech was "gentle" and wouldnt have broken it. He offered to CUT the part to show me was a "fresh break" looked like - which was completely useless since a cut looks completely different than a break in plastic. Ultimately, there was no way to prove that it had already been broken (but it was totally unusable at that point and had to be replaced). I had to stand there and ask to see the broken part (that they had already thrown away and had to retrieve from the garbage - they didnt even find all of it). If there was ANY chance that the shop broke the part - the manager should have owned up to that. If he had been reasonable - and offered a discount or to half the price of the part since he couldnt PROVE it was already broken, I would have been a happy customer. But the way he handled it, and the huge inconvenience, and the managers really crappy attitude -- left a LOT to be desired. I would NOT recommend this shop to ANYONE.

Horrible service. Where to start from? I used to be a customer of meineke for few years. When I relocated from Oregon to Seattle WA I decided to go to meineke closest location. OMG, those guys dont know what is customer service at all! Moment I entered this place all was unfriendly. Even I said hi, nobody even going to greet me. After I waited my turn in their waiting room I went to counter. The tall guy asked me what concerns I have besides the changing oil, I told him the problem with noise in car, he pretended that he put it in list but in fact he did not. After they changed oil and checked tire pressure they pull out my car. I went to counter and asked about noise in car. They surprised and said that they have no note in check list. The tall guy who collected information was busy and they did not want to bother him. They said they need to put my car back to pit, but technical employee was going to leave in 15-20 min. I asked to do it. They did but employee left and I waited another 30 min until I finally realized nobody is going to take my car back. I had to go inside shop (because nobody was on counter, it was like 5 pm or so) and ask somebody to get my car. Then employee (Beema his name) returned to counter he said that this is not his job and tech. employee left. This attitude pissed me off, I insisted to have my car back , they finally did. And they wanted to charge for that "second inspection" . Seriously? Nobody ever apologize to me for that attitude. I left very sad. Their waiting room is inconvenient: small, has no restroom, all smell with gasoline smoke.

1. Pathetic customer service. They made me purchase a $90 oil change coupon. At the time of purchase, they told me it is acceptable all over us. Also I will get a total of 8 oil chnages with this package. After my first service , within in 1 week , my car started showing maintenance indicator. I took my over there and they told me , indicator was not reset during last service, seriously. ( what mechanic forgets that) 2. The person at the counter took my $90 coupon and told me , the one who sold this to me provided falsified information and told me a total of 5 oil changes can be done with this. I got totally frustrated. Are they part of any corporation , I dont see a bit of professionalism here. 3. I took my car to desmonis meneike service center. They told me that , they dont accept this coupon. Being a frustrated customer, I called up this renton office and managers reply frustrated me till to the core. He told me that the ownership changed recently. If you have any questions, go and ask to whoever sold me that coupon. I never expected such a reply from a manager. Why do a customer need to know about meiniekeis internal org level details. My conclusion is , pathetic car service + falsified information providers + pathetic customer service. If anybody reading this is planning to go there, best wishes.

My brakes were GONE. I had to coast to a stop. I went to Meineke(used to be Walts) because it was close to my job, and I could drop it off- for an estimate. The first estimate he gave me, was $1675. He said that was Worst case scenario. But he told me hed call after he looked at it. He called me when he put it up on the rack- to let me know he had it started. He called around 230, with the bad news. He told me it was going to be worse than the original estimate- about $7000 more than the original. I told him that I couldnt afford that, so Id come pick it up. When I got there, some lady with her bad-assed kids was paying $20 dollars for something.(Kid was standing on tables, and walking back into the service area, playing with stuff behind the counter... I digress.... He shows me the estimate, and I nearly crapped myself. He tries to explain what needs to be done...(Basically, it was new EVERYTHING having to do with brakes.) And THEN, he says, "And I couldnt get to the tire, so I CUT OFF YOUR TAILPIPE. When you come in to get the rest of the work done, Ill put it back on for you. And I wont charge you for the work..." I look in my truck bed, and theres my Flowmaster. Sheared off. I look under my truck, and theres NO EXHAUST. They need to be Out.Of.Business.

I went in to get an inspection done and everything was fine except for what they called a tie rod. $28 bucks at OReillys, $27 on Amazon for the part. They called and quoted me $357 because they were having to replace both since it would affect the steering. I said NOT!!! How much are your tie rods.......$88. I asked if they bought them from Beverly Hills???? WHAT?!?!?! Are you insane & need to be sent to Western State?!?! I told them the prices I found and asked them why they would charge me over $300 in labor for one part? They fumbled their words after I asked them what they charged per hour for labor, which was $110 an hours. So you are going to charge $357 bucks for one part that cost me $28 bucks? No youre not! Stick to inspections for under $20 because Im not ignorant to your games Meineke. You are called Meineke Car Care for a reason because you are supposed to care about the car, not RAPE AND RIP OFF the customers that keep you in business. I wont be back and will pay my mechanic $50 to put it on for me. Better yet, my brother will do it for free and I will help him. Dont get your vehicle repaired there. They may want to replaced your engine when all your tire needs is air. Ill get it inspected somewhere else.
