I have only good things to say about Troy and the rest of the staff at Mountain Muffler. I dropped my car off when they were closed on a Sunday, without previously meeting anybody there just by going off of friends recommendations, and I couldnt be happier with the end result. I needed a few typical service things taken care of and I thought I had a larger problem in an engine oil leak. Turns out that my "leak" was just a bad o-ring or gasket on my oil filler neck, I was prepared for a hefty labor bill for what I thought was a bad cam seal leak. The staff at Mountain Muffler was completely honest with me and let me know that it was a minor thing and a cheap fix. Other mechanics surely could have done the work I requested and totally ripped me off all while my engine would still be leaking oil from the same spot. I am so glad they were honest with me, it allowed me to get my brakes rotors swapped since I didnt have to put out all my money for a non existent cam seal leak. Im happy to say that my experience was absolutely wonderful with Mountain Muffler and I will be taking my car back for normal service from here on out. I even drive from Salt Lake over to Heber City just for these guys! Great job and thank you for being up front with me.

Really happy with the service and their way of doing business. Had a broken exhaust pipe in my muffler system on my 2004 Infiniti. While they could have told me they needed to order an entire new Infiniti muffler and exhaust system (like some of the other Utah franchised auto repair shops would have done/defaulted to), then upcharged me on the parts, and overcharged me for needless hours of labor by the hour (instead of by the 1/4 hour), they chose to take the high road, be creative and talented with their mechancial skills, and fixed it the old fashion way, with solid repairs of cutting out the damaged area of the pipe and welding a whole new section in, all for a tenth or less of paying for the whole new system. I had no idea there were still such mechanics left in the world whom actually still take pride in their trade and skills, all with their client/consumer in mind. They also did it in less time than they said, and then called me to update me, something else missing at most of the other shops. Thanks Mountain Muffler.

Whether your issue be big or small, this is the perfect place to get your vehicle repaired in an efficient and timely manner. Recently the alternator in my car broke down, and I took it to Mountain Muffler. They took care of it much more quickly than even they anticipated, and even told me of some additional work that could be done, and did it! Their prices are more than fair; if they dont get it done on time, its because they got it done ahead of time; theyre very kind and respectful; and all around, these guys are the best Ive ever gone to have my car repaired.

We have done several mechanic jobs at Mountain Muffler from everything from our 06 Passat and my 05 4Runner to our 67 Jeep and our old 98 Subaru Outback. Everything they have touched has been phenominal and the customer service from Troy and team has been great. We even had an incident where they broke a wheel sensor for the ABS by accident on the Passat and they proactively repaired it themselves without even asking. I strongly recommend them.

Experience here was great and Troy was awesome to work with. However, car broke down after 1500 miles of getting it back for the exact reason I took it in for to be repaired. Warranty is as about as good as the people warrantying it. In this case I spent $3k here to only have an UN-drivable car. I wish they would have followed through with their "warranty" since I honestly liked working with them until the problem arose again.

I wouldnt think of taking our vehicles (all "five" of them), to any other place. These guys "keep me safe". Im "on the road" to different destinations, almost every day of the week. Ive done business with them for over 30 years. They even know my name, when I call. They are "up front" with detailed information on "whatever" needs to be done. I know I can "trust" their "judgment" when it comes to my "safety"..

I took my 1967 MGB there to have the rear muffler replaced. I had the part with new hangers and asked them to replace the damaged rear muffler. They did it in about an hour including making a custom pipe, but did not use the new hangers. When I pointed that out, they quickly jacked up my car and installed the new hangers. Great guys - fair pricing.

Cant say enough good things about these guys. We came in on vacation and the A/C in our van broke. Troy, Zac and the crew busted their butts to save ours! Honest, legit and all around good people. Wish they were down in Arizona where I could use them all the time. Seriously, car problem? Go to Mountain Muffler, end of story.

Good and prompt service except for a few days of having my car repaired the splash guard underneath my car ripped off. Thats never happened before so Im guessing it wasnt replaced correctly. This has been a quite a headache for me.
