My boyfriend and I would come here at least once a week, he is just one of those guys who loves to wash his car, and always loves to spend money on the fancy conditioner, which is why we went to this one. One day I just asked him to stop by so I could throw out some trash. When we were leaving the owner approached the car and my boyfriend rolled down his window. "Did you really just do that?" he asked. My boyfriend asked what he meant and the owner said that he watched us the whole time and all we did was throw our trash out and if everyone did that he would be out of business. I was shocked. Especially since my BF had said that he had talked to him before when he was there washing his car. When we told him that we come there all the time and usually never throw out anything, he tried to backtrack by saying that was the key words there that we came there all time time. But since then, we havent been back and we never will be. Expect maybe only to throw out our trash. Hope that your comment was worth losing business over and hopefully people who read this wont want to give business to a rude owner such as yourself.

If you never visited this carwash before and want to try it out- dont hesitate and CHECK IT OUT! Awesome carwash! Quality Brush and Equipment. My first time I met Brian, the owner, he is one awesome guy! He walked over every step thoroughly and explained how each process works in great detail. IGNORE all the negative reviews because its a SELF carwash - yes, it requires you to SELF read and make sure you follow all the instructions to not get overcharged and to use the proper equip for the proper situation. Those that want their cars to be detail cleaned with quality equipment & safe chemicals, this is the place to go. If you have any questions come up to Brian and he will explain everything in detail and give you best advices. This place got the best soft brush(plz dont use it on your wheels) and foams. Just make sure to read instructions, go in order - clockwise, and if you use a card - click the button to stop charging you at the end. - Brian, special thanks from my little white VW Golf!

Went there this morning.....it was drizzling and all the bays we open...so I decided to move the items in my car to the trunk while I had shelter from the rain. After a couple minutes the owner came up and asked what I was doing... I told him it would take me about 5 more minutes to move the items to my trunk before I washed and vacuumed the car. He he said okay but hurry up because people use these for projects all the time I explained it wasnt a project I was just moving things to my trunk. He came by 2 minutes later and said... you need to start moving along... Wow! I explained that I spend about $50 there a month but that I would be taking my car elsewhere and he said good! What a jerk! I wouldnt take any of my cars there again even though I have to drive a longer distance to go somewhere else! Ive never even written a review before, but with someone like him, I felt compelled to! Now hes got a completely empty lot....just him & his Mercedes......what a loser

Equipment is in good shape and the instructions are clear. READ the instructions, people as its YOUR responsibility to understand them. I walked up to swipe my card and someone left it on so it had been running for 24 minutes. ( I turned it off before starting my wash. I saw a couple reviews on other websites complaining about being over charged). Its a simple button to stop the machine from charging your card. Press it. Common sense and instructions apparently arent so common. The water pressure and soap is high quality. Living in an apartment, eventually not wanting to freeze my pipes during winter and after a couple car washes scratching my truck, Ill come here for now on The owner is very polite, I met him in person at the wash.

We are new to the area and found it hard to find a self serve car wash. We have been going on line to find the best places to go for our needs. Even if they have bad reviews we will give it a try and judge for ourselvies. Today we visited Mill Plains self serve car wash. We found it to be clean yet when we tried to use the vending machine for glass cleaner it ate my money and I relceived nothing. Then the last 3 quarters we put in the car wash gave us no minutes to finish?? Of course I didnt bother putting in more money to finish/loose. Granted my loss is only $1.50 and will hope this gets resolved. An out of order sign would have been nice. My intention was to write a good review sorry.

Guy who runs this place is big and mean. I needed to clean some cups out of my car and he publicly scolded me for using the trash. I wasnt filling up the trash. I probably had 10 cups total. I told him Id take it with me and go elsewhere and he told me if I didnt pay for anything I had committed theft of services. I had planned on fully detailing my car and spending substantial money there for a car place but after the scolding I just wanted to be somewhere else. Serious jerk who thought he could intimidate me because hes bigger than me and unreasonable.

Was a rude owner. I was in the middle of cleaning my car getting ready to vaccum when someone walked up to my car. I thought he asked if I was using my vaccum. So I smiled and told him I wasnt using it right now. And was yelled at and told to take my trash back with me or he was calling the cops. Idk why he was rude but I just went about my business and vaccumed and he just kept watching my every move. Not sure why I was harrassed but I think I will find a new place to self wash my car. Was too upset

Just visited for the first time. Looked online for a self-service wash and after reading the reviews, visited here. The car wash was clean and affordable. What sold me most was the one star reviews and the owners response. He quite obviously enjoys his work, cares about his business, its reputation and his customers. I only wish more business owners would speak their mind about riff-raff customers and how they deter decent paying business. Keep up the awesome work! I will be back for my next wash!

Popular place today! All the bays were full except one the attendant was working on so I had about a 10 minute wait. When he was done, he saw me waiting so he held off the guy that was on the other side (I guess he got there after me) and let me in. He came over and checked on me a couple times and he told me the owner is also the owner of kaddys and he uses the same chemicals at this place. My baby is sparkling now! You can use a debit card so thats super convenient. I will definitely go back!

This carwash has been completely remodeled and is fantastic. I travel a long way to wash my car because I know that the premises are impeccably clean and the equipment in tip top shape. I was saddened to read the above comment as the owner has always been extremely helpful and kind. I encourage anyone who takes pride in their vehicle to visit the Mill Plain Self Service Carwash because you will not be disappointed.
