WHAT A DISASTER…DO NOT GO HERE FOR UPDOS!!! I went there to try them out for doing an updo for my wedding because it was in town and cost effective, only $50 per updo! I wanted to put a hold on my wedding date so they wouldn’t book up, but the owner said she would not even book my wedding unless I had a trial first, which cost an additional $50. So, truth be told, a wedding updo costs $100, not $50, since they won’t let you book unless you have a trial. That’s a classic bait and switch. I showed up for my trial with a photo of my hair exactly the way I wanted it and all my accessories. A very young girl named Britney does all their updos. When I asked her how long she had been doing hair, she said 6 months, and my jaw dropped! I think the owner could tell I was nervous because she kept saying “oh, If I were getting married I would have Britney do MY hair!” trying to reassure me, I guess. Anyway, the trial experience was HORRIBLE. I wanted my hair simply twisted in front which would wrap around to a bun anchored low on the side of my neck. No curls, nothing elaborate at all, and I had a picture of the EXACT hair style I wanted. Well, Britney twisted my hair and it was not at all what I wanted, and didn’t look anything like the picture so I asked her (very nicely, by the way) to do it differently. She took about 20 minutes each time, and you could tell she was fumbling and experimenting and basically practicing over and over. She would twist my hair, look at it, then let it fall out and try again a different way. It was like she was teaching herself how to do a twist and using my hair as the test subject! I was getting more and more frustrated, but hated to let her see that, as she was SO YOUNG and obviously taking it hard that she couldn’t reproduce the photo. I tried to be gentle with her, suggesting she do the twist more loosely, etc. After she tried maybe four or five times, she FINALLY achieved the look I was going for. “That’s it! That’s perfect, just like that!” I said. Unfortunately, our hour and 15 minutes was up…but I didn’t have an updo! I knew that she at least knew what I was talking about and would probably be able to execute the day of, but I would have to spend another $50 for ANOTHER updo before I felt comfortable booking. I was visibly upset and the owner got really defensive, saying “Well, it sounded to me like you were confused about what you wanted, maybe if you would have brought in more pictures she would have known what you wanted.” REALLY!? Your 20 year old stylist who has only been doing hair 6 months couldn’t do a simple twist and basically used me as an opportunity to learn (while charging me $50 for it!) and you say it’s MY fault I didn’t walk out of there with a hairstyle? I said I would think about it and let them know within a week if I wanted to book. I decided to suck it up and book anyway, but when I called back 6 days later they told me “sorry, we’re all booked up that day.” I couldn’t believe it. I was calling back less than a week later and they knew my wedding was that day. I had already spent money with them. How could they take my money for a trial and then not even give me a courtesy call when someone else called to book my wedding date? It was so unprofessional. I feel like they basically stole from me. They took my money for an updo I didn’t get, then argued with me when I challenged them. Then they booked my date out from under me without giving me an opportunity to book first. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this salon.

I love this salon! I am writing this because I was shocked to see a negative review. Ive had my hair and nails done here several times and they have always done a great job. The girls there have always been friendly and provided great service, and having recently moved here, its not like they were only nice because they already knew me or something. I got a gel manicure done there for a wedding I was in several months ago and was very happy with the results. They were also the only place in town I could find that actually would do gel polish. I am having my hair done there for my wedding this upcoming weekend and so is my bridal party. I went a few weeks ago for my trial and could not have been more happy with the experience. Katrina is the stylist doing my hair. I showed her a few pictures and explained what I wanted and she did a great job of recreating my vision. She also gave me some specific instructions for my hair-type to prep it the night before so it will style & hold even better on my wedding day. You owe it to yourself and to your stylist to do a trial before your wedding day! Ive also done a few walk-in appointments and had my hair cut here by several different stylists. They have always done a great job. I was a bit worried moving to a small town that I wouldnt be able to find a salon that I liked, but I love Total Image Salon! I would recommend them to anyone.

I went to this salon for a $40 spa pedicure, nearly two hours later I left with wet toenails that had been painted not once, but twice because they failed to have spa flip flops and messed up four of my ten toes when placing my flip flops one me. They then applied a drying spray, but there was no drying machine in sight. After four hours and fifteen minutes of keeping my feet in flip flops on a March day, my toenails were still wet. Their staff was friendly enough, but owner was anything but helpful when I called her to relay my experience. Instead of offering to refund my money or even half of my money she stated that she could send me a check for $10. When I let her know that I didnt feel that this was sufficient reimbursement considering that I would have to go elsewhere and pay at least $20 to get at pedicure. She suggested that I go to who I usually go to, hung up on me and told me that she was not going to re-imburse any of my payment. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. This IS NOT good customer service.

Love the service!! I have been coming in for awhile now and using the tanning beds. They are well maintained and the bulbs are changed every year around same time. Love that...... I recently came in to get my toes and nails done to. I have only had them done once before from a different salon wasnt happy at all. I can say this time I was very pleased. The service I received was amazing and I will Be definitely getting them done on a regular basis now. Thank you Chantel and all the other lovely ladys there. Very happy customer

I took my daughter to have her hair cut and styled. She set her appointment up with Brittany. We all go to this salon and have never had any problems. Brittany always does a wonderful job - we are very happy with the way my daughters hair turned out. Way to go Brittany.
