Nikki and her team at The Spot Beauty Spot was everything that I could have imagined and more. From the moment that I contacted Nikki to inquire about doing my hair and make up for my wedding – I was sold!! Nikki was so warm and inviting when I arrived to her cute shop in Charlottesville for my wedding hair/makeup trial. All the girls gave me a hug and made me feel like we had been friends for years!! Nikki and CiCi did not let me leave that day without “loving” my hair and makeup. The communication leading up to the wedding day was stellar and I never had to wait long for a response back to my emails. Nikki brought an entourage of stylists with her on my wedding day – I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and 2 flower girls! Nikki and her girls were so accommodating and had so much fun with my girls!! Nikki and CiCi made me feel like a princess on the most important day of my life! I will never forget them or how they made me feel and look!! I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best experience and the utmost professionalism in the wedding business!! Nikki – THANK YOU so much!!

There are so many AMAZING things I could say about The Spot Beauty Shop! I am from the DC area, therefore I was very nervous when it came to finding the perfect hair/makeup stylist not knowing anyone in the Charlottesville area. I had seeked out a few places that I just felt OK with, and was so close to settling on a particular shop when I came across The Spot Beaury Shop. What captured my attention the most was they provide not only hair and makeup services, but also phenomenal spray tans! I dont know any other shop in Charlottesville that offers all of those things in one! I went in having no idea what I wanted. Nikki, CiCi and Olivia went above and beyond, showing me all my options, walking me through everything step-by-step. Nikki also gave me one of the best spray tans Ive ever had, and coming from someone who has spray tanned for 10+ years, that says a lot!! I truly wish I lived in the Charlottesville area to not only partake in these services more often, but to hang out with these amazing ladies! They truly made my day so much fun and so special, I cant thank them enough!

Our experience with the Olivia and her partner in crime was amazing. The ladies came to Leathers Snyder B&B to help me and my family get ready for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions I made. Everything went smoothly, beginning with my incredibly thorough hair and make-up trial -- where I was given several make-up options and was fully supported through all my decisions. For some context, the direction I provided went something akin to waving my hand in the air and saying "make me look good". Luckily they are really good at their jobs. Our wedding day was fun and relaxed, in part because of the laid back and positive attitude that the ladies brought with them to the B&B. They dealt with everything from an 8-year old niece to an extra make-up application and my little dog wanting to sit on my lap. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone getting married in C-ville. Thanks ladies!!!

Nikki did a phenomenal job with my wedding makeup. Starting from the beginning when I first reached out to her, she was consistently friendly, helpful, and prompt in her replies. When I met Nikki for my trial, she was incredibly nice and easy to be around. She tested out different options on my face, so I could see two different looks simultaneously. This was really great and allowed me to feel confident in what I ultimately decided for my wedding day. On the big day, she arrived on time and completed my makeup along with twelve bridesmaids in about five hours. Everyone looked amazing, and it was definitely the best professional make up experience Ive ever had. I felt natural yet special, and the makeup stayed on perfectly all night. The prices were all reasonable. I strongly recommend Nikki and her shop! I would encourage Charlottesville brides to do themselves a favor and book Nikki.

I have had many wonderful experiences with The Spot Beauty Shop! Cici cuts and colors my hair regularly, and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my bangs! I have been seeing Nikki for years for most other services. I love her spray tans; they use a natural product that doesnt turn your skin orange and gives a natural, even color. I see her regularly for bikini waxing and prefer the hard wax that she uses to soft wax with strips. She also does great facials; I get her express facials regularly which really help clear up my skin, especially when the weather turns hot and I am prone to breakouts. Thank you to The Spot for all of their great work and customer service!

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Spot Beauty shop! I couldnt have asked for anything better for my wedding. Nikki and her team were patient and responsive throughout the whole process, and everyone loved their hair and makeup on the day of. Nikki brought an entire team with her and they were fun and listened to what all of the girls asked for! Cici did AMAZING things with my hair (still get compliments!), and Nikki made me look exactly how I was hoping for the big day -- gorgeous! I planned my wedding completely remote requiring a lot of faith in a hair and makeup team local to the Charlottesville area. The Spot Beauty Shop and Nikkis team were happy to provide both hair and makeup at a reasonable cost with no minimums! When I arrived for my hair trial a couple days before the wedding I was immediately put at ease, what a fun group of girls! The morning of the wedding was stressful and even with a change up in the Spot Beauty Shop team they provided excellent service, calmed my nerves, and became a part of what made the day special! Highly recommended!

I cant say enough positive things about The Spot Beauty Shop! They were amazing to work with and I absolutely LOVED my hair and so did my bridesmaids and mom. CiCi was AWESOME! I had a hair trial and told her I wanted a boho look and had brought pictures. The style she created was so much better than the pictures!! She said she could do that style in her sleep and it showed because it turned out even better on the day of my wedding. I am SO particular about my hair and I was so thrilled with the way it turned out! I wish I had CiCi around daily to do my hair:)

I have been going to The Spot since it opened, with every experience being flawless for both waxing and hair. Nikki does a fantastic job for waxing, by far the best I have ever received, especially in Charlottesville! The unique hard wax she uses makes it a pleasant and precise experience every time. I highly recommend this salon for all of their services, and I plan to continue coming here even though I am moving to Richmond. The services and setting for this salon are far superior to all others in Charlottesville, so I definitely recommend it!
