We had the privilege of dealing with 4 State Real Estate in 2016. They were our agents for the purchase of our mountain cabin outside of Harpers Ferry, WV. As soon as I saw the property for sale (on Zillow) I called Adam - he not only responded promptl;y, but arranged for us to see the cabin during a holiday weekend time! The staff that assisted us throughout this somewhat interesting and anxious period was excellent - Katy Kidwell, Sarah, and Lacy all contributed in wonderful ways to our effort. When we met Adam at the closing, we hit it off immediately with him. We look forward to having this staff come for a visit at our Moonridge Cottage sometime soon.

They represented the sellers and this realty company purchased a warranty as part of the sale. They purchased a scam home warranty and it was not the name of the warranty company we had listed in our contract. I contacted this realty company the moment I saw the invoice. The owner of this realty company and the selling realtor would do nothing to fix the situation. I will be reporting them to the WV Association of Realtors. Be cautious with every step of your contract if you buy one of their homes. A true "family man" would have remedied the situation and bought the right warranty, instead he argued and talked down to me.

Adam gave me and my wife the impression that he wanted us to be happy with our choice while we looked at homes. He never tried to "sell" us a home like some other realtors have done in the past. He would point out the Pros and Cons and let us decide what we wanted. We would recommend him to our mothers if they were buying a home.
