I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Ram Tech. You guys know what youre doing, even if it was a simple plug. I felt super smart.. haha, NOT. I bought the desktop for $70 from someone and what I thought wouldve been big trouble wouldve cost me at least $150 and/or more. But as soon as I laid my desktop on the computer, the guy there opened it up and the simple fix was that my hard disk drive was unplugged... boy did I look stupid. HAHA! They willing gave me free screws and screwed it in themselves and even checked to make sure my Hard-disk was still in good condition. Damn did these guys go beyond!! I expected to atleast pay for the screws and the diagnostic check but they said I didnt have to pay anything. I wouldve been more than welcomed to put in $50 bucks for the screw and for what I wasted their time but no. The guys there just said its free. Ive had them fixed my iPhone multiple times because well, I break everything I own... and man - they are DA BOMBza!! Thanks Ram Technologies for being awesome. I am definitely coming back with my next technology awesomeness.

This used to be a great store, 5+ years ago, now it is overpriced and under-qualified. They try and sell software that can be had for free (legally). Most of the staff there seems like they hired them last week and handed them cue cards to read while they answer your questions. There are a few good people there, yes, but overall, they are becoming just like the Geek Squad. They talk at you instead of with you, they try and sell product rather than just address the issue at hand and they always go for software that requires you to buy it rather than get it for free (legally). One such example is Antivirus, they wanted to charge $60+ for Norton Antivirus when AVG is free and it does just as good of a job if not better. When asked about it, they got all defensive. Not my type of people. That is not what Wisconsin is all about.

I am more than pleased by the great customer service I always receive at RAM. I have stopped here often, sometimes just to ask a question and I always get the correct computer related answer at no charge. When I do stop to buy, the tec. will steer me in the right direction and the best buy. (very good prices) Ram is also a great place to buy refurbished computers and monitors. I live about 1 block from Ram Technologies, for 6 yrs now. Im very much into computers and own about 14 computing devices.. Over the. years Ive bought 4 Refurbished Laptops from RAM Technologies, and they all performed like they were. NEW.. Ive also have had repairs done at RAM Technologies. They dont charge for the Diagnostics. Its MY OPINION that Ram Technologies is the place to go if you live around Eau Claire for picking up a Refurbished PC or you need PC Repair!!!

My laptop died slowly and finally crashed. I took it into RAM Technologies and they were honest and forthcoming about what they could or could not do and what the costs would be. I received a follow up call a day or two after I dropped it off with the status. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and in person were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. They will be my "go to" for any future technology issues or purchases.

RAM Technologies are professional and extremely timely in their response as promised when you drop off your equipment. I received even more than expected material recovered in my desktop after it crashed. I highly recommend their service. You will be very satisfied. They also sell computers at extremely reasonable prices. I will be going back there for all of my computer needs in the future.

Had an issue with Windows 10 and connecting to wireless internet. Tony and another tech (didnt catch name); looked at it, fixed it, showed me how to fix it if it happened again. No charge. I knew it was something easy,but beyond my tech skills. Nice guys, easy to work with, helpful. My go to place if I need tech help.

Prices are a little high and employees are relatively knowledgeable. As far as computer parts stores go Id say they are a C, could be C+ if there was more depth to the on-site product selection. But its the only computer parts store in town, if you want something immediately get it here, otherwise get in it online.

I love coming to this place! They are very helpful and once you walk into the door they are always right there to help you! They are cheap on prices I would recommend coming to this place to buy things instead of going to Best Buy or Walmart! I go here quite a bit to buy things for my laptop, and for my internet!

RAM Technologies was able to recover pictures from a hard-drive that crashed with years of pictures. The program took four days to run and recover the pictures, but they were willing to let the program run to completion. They had great service and economical pricing.
