Mike and the entire crew and M & M Auto Body are GREAT! I rear-ended another car and the front end of my 2010 Chevy Impala was banged up BAD! They walked me thru what they needed to fix, the insurance adjuster was late and they called them up asking what was the hold up, they called me with updates and I could call them whenever and if ever I had a question, I had a loaner car for me (not the newest car in the world but a loaner that got me everywhere I had to go) for no charge. I met M & M distributors and got to ask them questions. And they went to bat for me to make sure what needed to be fixed got fixed and that nothing was left out! I will and have told anyone and everyone, GO to M & M Auto Body! My car looks NEW, they detailed the inside and out when it was done and fixed a couple little dents no charge for me! For the bad review on here I’m not sure what you’re talking about cause I had the best experience and did not have any issues, they even had my car done early! Thanks again M & M! I already said it on Facebook now I’m saying it here!

I crossed paths with Mike and his staff at M & M Auto Body last week during a trip through Madison. I currently live on the West Coast and was visiting Madison as a former student at the UW. I was involved in a rather unfortunate hit and run incident driving a vehicle that wasnt mine. I needed some minor body work done, but I needed it in short order. Mike personally took an interest in my situation and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Not only that, but Mike was able to get my vehicle in the next morning and quickly performed the work. Throughout the whole process I dealt with a staff that exhibited exceptional customer service with a comforting personal touch that I believe is rare in most business environments. I was extremely moved by their professionalism, and I think this is a main reason Mike has been serving Madison residents for over 30 years. If this is an example of how he treats customers than I have no doubt that you will be very satisfied with your choice to bring your vehicle to M & M Auto Body.

Im glad I didnt go with this place and went with another. During the estimate all he wanted to do was talk about himself and his personal issues. Fine what ever, guy talks a good talk. Talked about he wanted to be the QB and take charge so I wouldnt have to worry about anything. What a joke that turned out to be. 2 days before I was scheduled to drop off my car, call him for an update to ensure everything was in place. Couldnt find my info and said he would call me back, didnt call back. So I call the next day, now one day before drop off, puts me on hold for 15min before I finally hang up in frustration. 2 weeks of sitting around for nothing thanks to this place. I take my car to another body shop, they find an additional $1600 in damage that this place failed to put down on the estimate. Not only that he had the paint scheme of my car completely wrong!!! Seriously this place left a really bad taste in my mouth. Just thankful they are not doing the work.

Im very disappointed with my first time experience. The lack of quality customer service and care, not to mention empathy from the staff, is truly heartbreaking. Thanks to Mike for at least trying to help me out, but the rest of the staff was trying too hard to get to know me on a way too personal level (which made me so uncomfortable) instead of taking care of my car needs. My car and my safety in the car was my main focus, and after talking with me, that should have been their main focus, too (not whether or not I look like one of the staffs daughters, showing me his Facebook page as proof. That was too creepy for me). I wish I could be one of the customers who could rave about this place. Notice how I havent even mentioned the final result of my car, all because of this horrible customer service. How unfortunate. This local shop is one I will not be using again. Im happy for those who were lucky to have a good experience.

I had a minor scratch on the back bumper of my brand new car. I was devastated and went to both M&M and Sparkle for quotes. Sparkle told me they could only repaint it for $600. M&M quoted me about $200 but also said they could try just buffing it out first for about $30. I dropped my car off in the morning and was given a ride to work by one of their employees. Around lunch time it was done and the same employee picked me exactly on time. It was like magic! I couldnt see the scratch at all. I still cant and its been two months and I have gotten my car washed twice. They also cleaned my car. I couldnt be happier. Greg was the man who have me the estimate and he was so friendly and personable. I didnt feel like he was trying to take my money. He was just as honest as possible. Now I have another scratch in another area on my bumper and I will gladly bring it back so they can work their magic again.

Normally I go into places like this expecting to get old magician trip of watch the left hand so you dont see what the right is doing. But I was TOTALLY surprised and pleased at how well my experience was. My wife and I worked with Greg, and he made everything as smooth as possible. We got the estimate fast, including a timetable as to when the car would be done (and it was done on time), constant contact as to when things would get started and what was going on. Greg even helped get the rental car and insurance stuff set up so all I had to do was show up at the rental office and get the car. I was even able to leave the rental at M&M and he took car of the pick-up. I can not recommend this place highly enough for anyone needed auto body work.

Update - 1April2015. Mike contacted me and really wanted to straighten things out. He got my car back in and really did a great job with the scratches and my car looked fabulous. He sincerely want to make things right. Im glad I gave them a second chance. They initially did an OK job repainting an area on my car so I though I would take it in and get it detailed and the minor scratches buffed out. I paid $200 and believe they only washed the car. None of the scratchs were gone and we are talking very minor surface scratches. I called 3 times to talk to the manager and even left a message for the owner, who was on vacation for a month. No one got back to me. I guess they dont want my business.

I went to M&M for some body work on my 2001 Corolla after a minor car accident. I was absolutely thrilled with the results -- I barely recognized the car when we picked it up. From the beginning, M&M provided a clear estimate, which Mike walked through with me point-by-point. Once I had signed off on the work and dropped off the car, Mike went above and beyond with the work, provided a same-day turnaround (with a free loner car), and a great price. No surprises. Wonderful customer service, and I even got a call the next day to confirm I was pleased with the results. I would recommend M&M to anyone.
