Horrible experience. Already had the internet and phone which was ok except for having to reset the modem once or twice per week. Kept getting ads in the mail for "triple play" service including internet, phone & TV. Decided to change when Dish lost local CBS in pissing contest over carriage rights. Pulled up promotions on website which matched everything I was sent in the mail. Called and ordered service & pricing (guaranteed for one year) and no installation fee. Disappointed immediately with television service. Channels froze frequently and the channel lineup is a mess. When scrolling the guide Id swear the same channels were duplicated a half dozen times although I didnt count them. No rhyme or reason with the groupings, like they added any new channel to the end of the list. All and all it was a jumbled up mess. Finally got the bill which didnt resemble the agreed upon price. Called and told "I didnt qualify because I wasnt a new customer". Put aside the fact that I verified terms before I authorized the service I still had a card on my kitchen counter they had sent in the mail with pricing to "upgrade my service". The only exclusion listed was customers "with an outstanding obligation to Charter". I would interpret this to mean any past or present bills must be in good standing. In the end they lied blatantly and I ended up changing to an inferior product & service for a higher price. Hadnt been impressed with Charter in prior dealing but thought Id give it another try, huge mistake! I changed after less than a month and I will never go back. Not only changed the TV back but also the phone & internet. Good riddance Charter!

Just built a new home and receive offers almost everyday in the mail for their service, yet they wont service us. We share a driveway with a house that they do serve though!!! Funny how each time we are told no its for a DIFFERENT REASON. I am FURIOUS. We even offered to pay to have the lines buried and they seriously said it would be $40k! If Charter had any idea how much money they would make off of us they would BEG us to choose their service!! Is there a direct number to the local office besides the generic number they post? Who is the construction crew manager?

I called on two separate occasions and both times the salesman was Extremely RUDE when I didnt either signup immediately or accept the upsale bait. Neither listened to my needs. They persisted with very manipulative small talk. I used Spectrum when I lived in Ohio and never had a problem. Spectrum recommended Charter so Im sure that their services are ok if you can bypass the bull and get your needs addressed. I ended up going through a third party site in order to get exactly what I needed.

Your outdated systems and boxes that may have been refurbished. SUCK!! The remote is bulky and the box barely reads the signal. It runs through channels probably a hundred channels a minute and I have to reset the box. This never happened with AT&T. We only switched because charter had a better deal. I understand why now... super frustrated with the daily task of this. Also they still have boxes that dont have recording options! What is this 1999?

Charter is a terrible company. Their services go out all the time!!! And they have some rude customers service reps! I cant submit home work on time or enjoy a movie all the way through because there is always an outage or a sorry internet connection. They expect you to pay these high prices but cant guarantee service!!!! Direct t.v. has earned me as a new customer. Charter doesnt care about their customers.

Unstable internet, doesnt work a lot of times. The latency haves spikes. Use to have tons of outage. Also can no longer watch streams at 1080p anymore. Latency also increase for some reason when people are downloading things on the internet, which use to near happen. Main complain is the unstable internet that they provide.

Got Charter services and they lied about prices. They tell you one price and charge you another on everything. They also charge you things they say will be waived, like installation fees. The new pricing lasted 90 days and they advertise 12 months. Try out Uverse

Love our service for under 100 we get all channels with premium service plus wifi internet plus phone andn a dvr box to record shows when at work , compared to dirrect tv and AT&T they are actually better and provide service help when needed.

Paying $150.00 a month for 1 DVR, ! cable box, & internet. No service for the last 5 days. Called to ask why the service tech hasnt arrived yet, and was told "They arent coming". Charter you suck.

Our neighbors moved and canceled their services. Charter came and cut everyones internet off in the complex. It took over a week for them to fix the service.
