Ive been a black card member at Planet Fitness for about 4 or 5 years now. Ive only kept my membership because of the convienant hours. The staff is rude, unhelpful, unfriendly, and judgemental. I was doing dead-lifts tonight and the manager told me that they were not allowed. Suprised, I asked, "Isnt this a gym?" To which she replied, "If you have a problem with it, I can cancel your membership." Shocked and disrespected, I assured her I would cancel my membership the following day. She told me she would go ahead and do it for me, and I told her no thank you. I put the bar back on the rack like she had asked, went to get another barbell for my partner, and when I walked by the front desk, the manager, "MK," told me if I didnt leave the gym she would call the cops. She told me she cancelled my membership, so I was trespassing. When I asked on what grounds did she cancel my membership, she said I didnt follow the gym rules and "disrespected her." I told her I would call the corporate office the next day and file a formal complaint. She would not give me her name, a business card, nothing. Just rudeness and an unfair cancellation of a 5 year membership. If youre serious about joining a gym, setting goals, and accomplishing them, avoid this place like the plague. The staff will only chastise you with seemingly made up rules and eventually call the cops on you. I have a good mine to hire a lawyer to sue this joke of a gym.

This was the worst joke of a "gym" I have ever seen. The staff basically made fun of me and my friends for being in shape & said we might be too intimidating for their other members. They have no group classes and you can never get on a machine b/c they only have a few. They talk about being judgment free, but they dont do ANYTHING to help people get to where they want to be and happy with themselves. All they did was talk bad about other gyms and gym-type people. At least other gyms actually WANT you to reach your goals and feel good about yourself for doing it instead of trying to make you feel guilty for being fit! If you cant say anything nice, perhaps you should just keep your fat mouth shut!

If you are like me, and just want to put on your headphones and get your workout done without getting distracted, this is a great gym for you. I go 5 times a week in the late evenings sometime between 8am-midnight depending on how busy I am. The staff is quick, answers important questions, then they leave you alone and let you get to work. Other people working out that late do the same thing, they dont interrupt you and try to talk. Im grateful for that. Im just there to get the job done! Cardio section is amazing, and as someone who lifts a lot, havent been in need of any equipment except for a decline bench. Try it out!

This gym used to be a pretty decent place to work out, despite not having a squat rack that allowed for more than one plane of movement. Then, they took out the benchpress. One of the very best exercises for muscle building and/or losing fat, and they take it out. They are so scared of people who actually want to lift weights, its disturbing. If all you want to do is sweat away on a treadmill or do nothing but a high intensity work out - this place could work for you. It is cheap, thats for sure, with pretty good hours. But, if the main thing you want to do is lift - this is not for you.

Great place to get your money stolen. Havent been to this gym in years. Definitely canceled my contract. Had money taken out of my bank account. Called to dispute the charges no refund. Changed bank account numbers and its been a year and guess whos back. Yup charges to a gym in Mobile, AL. I live in Colorado. I havent lived in Mobile for over a year can anyone explain this to me. No need this company is corrupt.

This is the best equiped planet fitness we have in mobile. I hate that it is not 24/7. It is 24/5 and on weekends from 7 to 7. So I drive to pascagula to get my workout in on the weekends. This gym has a very friendly staff. No workout bands or anything, though I believe they have jump ropes.

Staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place is nice. They provide all the equipment you need for whatever workout that you are wanting to do. The few times I have used showers they seemed to have been recently cleaned. Over all no complaints.

I like going to PF because Im comfortable with the staff & others who want to get fit for life! Its just a perfect place for "average" people like me, want to stay fit, toned, who rather work out away from home! If this is you, come join us!

this one is better than Tillmans Corner but not as good as Schillinger. it has a lot of equipment but not as much as Schillinger road. staff is ok. havent had any problems with them. then again Ive only been to this one about 3-4 times.

LOVE THE NEW CARDIO! New treadmills, new ellipticals, new bike, really great stuff. This location alson replaced a lot if older workout equipment with new state of the art equipment.

I was asked to leave for breathing to hard while doing lying leg raises when really I was exhaling all my air so I could get a good contraction in my abs. Never train there

Really nice laid back staff, although I did get the link alarm for accidentally banging a machine weight. I felt judged!!
