I could not be more satisfied with the professionalism and customer service Ms. Evelyn provided. I reserved a unit online. Ms. Evelyn called the next day to confirm and provided the info for me to walk into the office and get the unit I previously reserved. She thoroughly explained everything to me and showed me the unit for my approval. It was the most efficient transaction Ive experienced. Thanks for your Great Service with and Outstanding Attitude. 1/29/2014 Just left the Public Storage located on Moffett Rd, Mobile, AL on Wed, 29 Jan 2014 at 4:30PM. I must say I was disappointed with the onsite property managers assistance. None was provided. Weather was bad during Tuesday nite. Roads were iced over due to sleet over nite. I needed to get some things from my storage unit. I went thru the gate fine. I attempted to exit the property and could not. See, there is an incline on the way out. Of course the ice prevented me from navigating the incline in order to exit. Another gentleman was getting something from his unit as well. He saw I was having difficulty exiting, so he provided an axe to help chop/break the ice. He noticed a flat shovel on the wall next to the exit. We use that to help make a path to exit the property. After approx. 45 minutes of chopping, breaking and shoveling we finally cleared a path to drive up the incline and exit. I used the shovel to get down the incline to my car. I did not place it back on against the wall. The gentleman that helped said he would put it back. As I was going to my car, only then did the onsite property manager exit the building and told me to put the shovel back where it originally was. I found that to be very ungrateful or unappreciative of the task we had just done for her. It seems to me that the on site manager should have had the incline cleared prior to anyone entering or exiting the property. As it was no prior planning or work was done. This is around 3:30 PM. If the onsite manager isnt suppose to assist clients then what is her purpose. I imagine she watched and listened while we worked to clear a path. Instead of saying Thanks You, she made us feel like we had done something wrong. Quite the contrary. Did not appreciate the tone or attitude.

Deceptive promotional practices!! I was recently in need of a storage unit and I found a good deal at this Public Storage facility. The advertised rate was right around $38 per month for a 10x12 unit. When I arrived to get the unit I was informed I was required to purchase insurance for the unit for an additional $12 per month. The $38 deal turned into $50 per month. I went ahead and moved all of my stuff into the unit. Just a few short months later I receive a sly little post card informing me they had done a price review and determined my price should go up by more that 20% but not to worry because I was still getting a "deal." DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LOW MOVE IN PRICE BECAUSE THEY WILL QUICKLY INCREASE THAT ONCE YOU ARE ALL MOVED IN.

I love coming to this facility. I know that my belongings are secure. When I first came the women here were super helpful when it came to choosing an appropriate sized unit. I was unsure and had to go see another one and it was absolutely not a problem. We all spent so much of the paperwork time laughing and talking. It was good to be able to familiarize myself with the staff there. About a day after one of my visits to my unit, I received a call that I had improperly secured my storage, so if went down to lock it correctly. They reviewed the proper locking techniques and I have gotten it right ever since. Great team there!!

I am a student at The University of South Alabama and I am going to be renting a unit for the second time this summer. Me and a friend rented from them last summer and the quality and service were great. Location isnt far from campus and the workers were really nice and always spoke when we were on the property! Pricing is amazing and works well for college students! It made my transition into the summer a lot easier than having to pack up everything in my truck and move everything home for two months and then turn around to morning all back in August! I highly recommend Public Storage for any college student!

I recently reserved a storage unit while traveling from Memphis, TN. I also called and spoke with Ms. Evelyn who helped me with the unit size and price. Upon arrival, she knew who I was and helped to expedite the reservation. Nyrie took us to our unit and allowed my husband to start unloading while I handled the paperwork. Everything was taken care of efficiently and professionally. I would recommend this facility to others. Con: The office space is a bit small. Cant service more that two customers at a time. :)

I resently leased a storage unit to store some of my sons belongings . I went to several facilities to compare prices and public storage price was best for what I needed. Ms Evelyn was very helpful in getting me set up with a unit and explained the process, since I had never leased a unit before. The facility was clean and I feel my son things are secure. The office area is very and not very inviting, but the staff make up for that by being friendly and professional. Will recommend to friends.

I desperately needed a place to store my belongings for the summer and both Christy and her mother, Evelyn, who also works at this particular location gave me extraordinary customer service and a safe and clean place to store my things. Everything was as they promised in my storage unit and with my contract and billing. Absolutely NOTHING negative to say about those two but a big THANK YOU! You made my first experience renting a storage unit a success and a convenience.

I recently moved back to Mobile from California with my wife and 4 month old baby girl and needed somewhere to store our thinks while we got our new home renovated.I made an online reservation, miss Evelyn she called to confirm the reservation, once we got to meet her and Nyrie in person they where great! She was nice and she took care of everything so professionally and she made the experience effortless. Great place they treat you like family!!!

Went to this location on the suggestion of a friend and was not disappointed. Nyrie, the manager on duty, helped me every step of the way. She took me on a tour of the property, showed me where my space was located, and made sure my access code worked before I left the property. Very professional- will recommend this location to anyone that is in need of a storage unit. Keep up the great job!!

Mrs Evelyn is a wonderful person to work with. I just recently moved here with my husband and didnt even know where to begin and she helped me find everything I needed and gave me more options than even the corporate office could find! Best help Ive found in Mobile for the three months Ive lived here! Will definitely be using this location if not for anything other than the service!!! :)
