My first experience with this particular Public Storage facility was so lovely. Kathy was extremely warm and welcoming and got me setup in my unit quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately my customer service experience with them has quickly declined so much to the point that I am seriously considering renting a storage unit elsewhere. My credit card that I had setup on autopay for my storage unit was stolen a few weeks ago and in the aftermath of this combined with the busyness of the holiday season I forgot to update my new credit card information on my account. I received a call from Dennis (the property manager) about this and he notified me that I needed to update my credit card information but that I had until the 26th of January to do so. He never once mentioned a late fee or them cutting the locks on my unit. Much to my surprise I get a call this week (less than a week after the phone call from Dennis) from Verna at Public Storage telling me that a late fee has been applied to my account and that if I didnt update my payment information that they would be cutting the locks on my unit. Needless to say I was extremely distraught over this having thought that I had until the 26th to update my payment information and she said that she would have Dennis call me to discuss the matter. It is two days later and I still have not received a phone call from them. I am not a person who goes out of my way to write bad reviews for businesses but I was so disappointed with this particular situation that I felt the need to say something. There is no excuse for bad customer service especially when there are a dozen other storage facilities in the area that I could move my things to.

I have been storing my belongings with Public Storage since 1993 .... I have met a lot of different property managers throughout that time and I can say this, they all do what they can to help ....but only a chosen two have really gone above their call of duty for me ... one of my favs Kathy that used to manage the facility retired less then a week ago and I was a little worried as to who would be able to replace her and fill her shoes and be as wonderful as she was .... Well.. Dennis has definitely filled her shoes and is now my new fav. Hes friendly,resourceful, helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to help me with the issues I was dealing with concerning my units. He made me comfortable with him and was very reassuring that everything was taken care of and I am happy that Public Storage chose him to run the Rohlwing facility ... Dennis gets TEN STARS from me that is for sure....when you have someone that has fantastic customer service skills .. you have happier customers .. there are not many out there anymore like Dennis.

This month, Kathy Mclin from Public Storage on 945 Rohlwing Road offered to my client and I a fabulous experience with opening an account at her location. My client is experiencing pain in her young life, and needed to move her special belongings into a safe location. When I called this location, I was greeted with warmth and expertise. All of my questions were answered and my client felt very comfortable walking into what could have been a negative experience. Kathy even stayed a few minutes late on her Saturday evening, for my client ran into traffic and couldnt make the closing time. I have been telling people of this positive experience and will refer anyone that is looking for storage to this location, due to the fabulous service we received. Just felt the need to spread the word about my great experience with Pubic Storage. The staff "Dennis" was amazing, he was always available to assist with my needs. As a seasonal camper I need winter storage for my RV and parking here was safe and secure, with an access code so I could come and go as I pleased. Rates are reasonable and when preparing to pull my rig out Dennis was there to help with the process. I even got a call the next day from Dennis checking that everything worked out well for me. I will be sure to return to this facility at the end of the season and know that rig will be safe here again. Thanks PS and Dennis. David K.

Revised review: First this place needs an updated website, second when I used their website to schedule my move out I also followed up with the office to ensure everything was complete and there was no balance due. This was confirmed. Second they called me a month later to collect a balance to which I told them was already settled, they confirmed this as well. Now today i get a letter stating I was sent to collections. Maybe if Samantha spent less time taking smoke breaks (3-4 times every time every time I went to my unit) and more time keeping up with accounts this wouldnt have been an issue. Time to hire new help.

Samantha was very helpful and set up my account quickly. She provided great customer service. The companys policy of sneaking in a fee for the lock - that you have to buy, and insurance - that you also have to buy, and an administrative fee, makes the first month for $1 a bit deceptive... its more like first month for $57, but... Samantha was very friendly and of course its not up to her. Kudos to her for helping me understand the storage unit options, and getting me into the unit quickly.

We have had a unit here for over two and a half years and its been a great experience the entire time! We are moving out now and its been the smoothest, easiest process of everything weve had to do! Kathy McLin is a fantastic and wonderful lady who always has time to go the extra mile to help with whatever you need, or explain things thoroughly whenever you have questions. Wish we could transport this facility with us! 5 Stars for sure, and Id give more if theyd let me!!:)

My experience with this location is already 100X better than my previous experience with Public Storage. The lockers and area is very clean and the check-in process was very quick and easy. "Brenda" helped me and was very professional, explaining everything well and answering my questions. I only needed a little extra space for the time being and this location was the closest and best priced of the storage options in the area.

Just an update...I went back to Public Storage when the business need arose. Kathy was so accommodating. Everything was just as I remembered. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility and the manager, Kathy. /// I love this Public Storage location. Everyone is very friendly and accomodating. The manager Kathy is super great to work with. If you have storage needs to the area, choose this location.

Kathy was amazing helping us chooae the right size unit to store our life in while we find a house. She made it easy, comfortable, and it was of course afforable. I would recommended this loxatuon even if its out of ur way. My favorite part is she remembers her tenants by first name and is always smiling! I wish more pwople were like her.
