For my small business during peak seasons we need to rent an additional storage unit. Ive had the pleasure of working with Kelly on numerous occasions over the past several years. On Friday, I went in to rent an additional unit and Kelly assisted me once again. Her friendly demeanor and uber efficiency is always greatly appreciated. I cant tell you how nice it is to have employee continuity these days. Kelly remembers me by name, asks about my family and is incredibly helpful. On this last visit I absentmindedly locked my keys in my car. Of course it was 105 degrees that day. I walked over to the office and Kelly was there to help. She phoned a family member who worked for the city to see if they opened cars for no charge and asked if they didnt if they knew anyone else who did. Luckily for me the Schaumburg provided this service She then called the police station for me, explained my situation and they were on their way. She then allowed me to call my store to let my staff know I didnt die in the oppressive heat. Its the little things that retain my business. Sure there are other storage unit places in the area and some are cheaper, but they dont have Kelly who keeps her property in great condition and goes the extra mile. She mentioned she recently went part time and was the first to ever do so in the company. Hats off to Public Storage for changing the rules and retaining a top notch employee that cares about customers and takes pride in her job.

Alissa and Kelly worked with me to relocate my storage locker. By going to a smaller locker, I was able to cut my rent in half, and go to a space with better lighting and location. Alissa made sure that the new space was clean and she also sprayed for bugs, which was a nice touch. Alissa also reviewed the new lease and explained it, which was also very helpful. Overall, the transfer of a substantial number of storage boxes to a new space was very positive and pleasant. Fast forward to today. I had not been to my storage locker in quite some time, however, I found it to be clean and untouched since I moved into it a couple of years ago. One problem though -- tab stops on the back side of the locker door caught on some boxes stored in the locker and prevented the door from opening. Kelly understood this problem and after some manipulating of the door and boxes, was able to open and close the door freely. Kudos for that, and for keeping an eye on the locker. Ill try to get up there more often from now on.

I would definitely recommend this public storage. The store manager Kelly made my move real easy. She explained things to me so I would miss nothing or be blindsided with the little things later. The first time I made a booking, it was for the wrong dates - Kelly made it a point to follow up and got me a great deal for when I moved in. I was late on my check out date by thirty minutes (the office closes at 6, I was there at 6.30 because my international flight was delayed but I could move things out till 9) and was charged a late fee and for an additional week. Curtis Heinz (I believe he is the district manager) was extremely understanding and helped me resolve this issue in Kellys absence along with Shana, the stand-in manager while Kelly was away. I would strongly recommend working with all of them, especially Kelly.

Just moved to the neighborhood and this place was right near the highway. Seems very updated and well kept. Cons: made an appt for sat at 4pm. The email said all I had to pay was $25.($1 first month and $24 one time fee). Because of the unique locks this facility has, you are forced to buy theres. Which is an extra $22. And you cannot use this lock anywhere else except a handful of public storage. I walked out of there having to pay $69, $44 over what I was told I was paying. This was not this locations fault, but public storage company issue. Other than that I am very pleased. And the staff was very nice and made for a quick signup. I would recommend this place to others

I have been a customer at the Hillcrest Blvd location for 10+ years and would highly recommend this location for those seeking a storage facility. The staff at this location is amazing and extremely helpful no matter the request. On occasion, Ill stop in the office for something and each experience has elicited outstanding customer service. I had the recent opportunity to stop in and worked with Renee to resolve a billing issue and she was absolutely fantastic to work with and resolved my issue completely. The facility is very well maintained and coupled with the highly competent and customer service oriented staff, should put this location at the top of your list.

Ive been a customer off and on for many years. Kelly has always been great to do business with. She is very friendly and always kind to my wife as well as myself. We are currently downsizing and Kelly came to check our unit to help us decide if we can fit into a smaller space. She was able to tell us different ways to put everything so we could see how our items would fit into the smaller space. She went above and beyond. She really knows what great customer service is about!

Beware of Insurance. We were lied to by the front desk girl saying we had to take their insurance. We already have Home owners insurance which covers this. She never asked us if we did - it wasnt until we came home and read the fine print to see we didnt need the charge. I called PS customer service and they said I could cancel it and they would refund my money but they prorated it and sent me a check for 73 cents

I have to say thank you ! I have to say thank you to Kelly !!! She knows me by name and unit # and she is always so HAPPY AND NICE !!! and she has extra bobble rap there for me to play with ! She is a great assete to your company !!! I never have had any problems with anything ! Even last winter with all the snow, i never had any trouble getting to my unit cause of all the snow ! This is my first time ever using public storage and i must say, i am very pleased with how friendly and knowledgeable Kelly was about the units. She presented me with updates on all the units. Moving in was easy, even when i forgot my code at home, she helped me get in. I will most definitely recommend this site to anyone who needs storage. And hey, ask for Kelly, shes a great manager.

We rented a storage unit from Kelly, she reviewed the deal we got online and suggested a different unit that was bigger and less money than our original reservation. She was extremely personable, took time to go over everything and all around was great. Went and saw the unit and it was great. Thank you Kelly for your attitude and professionalism.
